Hospital Treatment
The ward consultant came in at 10 am pronounced that I was in a flare and that I should increase my regular
oramorph
medication with a view to increasing my regular zomorph dose. He told me he would only continue the steroids if my inflammation markers were up.

Extreme pain at bottom of my back.
I take tramadol and paracetamol at the same time and even have
oramorph
at times but all they do is to make me very tired but they don't take away the pain. I wonder if anyone else on here has the same and has found anything that helps.

Falling of the Prednisolone cliff
I have been told to start taking Prednisolone again (which I have) and am needing increased amounts of pain medication (
oramorph
), which doesn't seem to be working effectively. Does anyone else have similar experiences with this steroid?

Like many people on here, the pharmacy practitioner from my doctors surgery has decided she is taking me off morphine slow release tablets and
oramorph
, I’ve been on the same dose for 6 years, I’ve really really struggled to not let my dose go up, regardless of the pain, as I’m a carer for my 82 yr

Has anyone had endometriosis come back with in a year of having a full hysterectomy and how did you deal with it?
I am also a type 1 diabetic but getting the same symptoms as pre op and currently on
oramorph
and oxynorm which whilst on this I don't feel my hypos. Which I am struggling to deal with daily life and worried endometriosis has come back or I have more adhesions.

Pain!!!
I've tried a tens machine, anti inflammatories, tramadol,
oramorph
- nothing seems to touch it! I'm also have a lot of problems after my period, where I feel as though everything is inflamed! This then causes more pain and increases when I go to the toilet - any tips for this would also be great!!

For about the last 4/6 weeks mine doesn't seem to be helping with my breathlessness so I have found myself relying on
oramorph
which I'm not very happy about. Ideas and suggestions please Patsy

Aortic Valve replacement - The Op & 7 days after
Mostly I was given paracetamol, but also Tramadol and
oramorph
. Sometime on the third day I noticed I was connected to a pacing machine, this is for patients who struggle with their own sinus rhythm after the op, quite common apparently.

Unsuccessful pain management
The A + E doctor sent me away with some 60mg codeine and anti sickness after giving me some
oramorph
which really helped. I’ve had to let my boss know I won’t be in for the next two days. I am having to take a lot of sick days recently.

Help
I am taking Cocodamol and Tramadol on a daily basis and often have to top up with
Oramorph
. I haven’t worked in months and spend a lot of time in bed. I have a 2 year old son who I am unable to look after on my own and I just would like to achieve some quality of life.

I take
oramorph
for pain because none of the anti depressants etc work. I am slowly losing the feeling in my hands and feet, anyone got any words of encouragement to offer? Thanks all for all your help in the past.

At what point do you need to go to hospital?
My pain medication is 30mg morphine capsules twice per day with additional
oramorph
as needed. I don’t want to go to hospital to wait hours only to be told to go home and take more morphine. Surely, if I need so much painkiller there is something very wrong?
