I think it is half between the cancer in there; and his extreme constipation due to the
opiates
. Haven’t been able to get him to have regular bowel movements despite the medicine lactulose. Which is bizarre to me. Lactulose causes extreme gas as well which isn’t helping the cause.

GP refuses to acknowledge I may have PMR, even though he first suggested it!
Starting 5 or 6 years ago I was increasingly suffering from stiff and painful joints after being inactive for a few minutes and more particularly in the mornings (getting out of bed) As time has gone on this pain is now well defined across neck, shoulders and upper arms, significantly worse in hips,

Dr making me want to yank my hair out! Told me hypermobility doesn't cause pain and won't help me!!!

So when I was told I had to go in to have the needle done alone as it's done under x-ray, it was dangerous to

Leading pain doctor says no significant pain relievers for at least ten years.
It did help me to withdraw from
opiates
after the FDA/DEA jack-booted thugs said we couldn't take it for pain. Only those "lucky" enough to have cancer could take them. After all, they're dying anyway so what does it matter if they're addicted? Aren't we all dying, really?

Kratom, the latest FDA headache. Anyone take kratom?
There is nothing to match
opiates
, face it. I heard about kratom, researched, purchased and experimented. I personally took it for, like so many others, pain relief from the withdrawals. Perhaps it was the placebo effect, perhaps it really did work, I don't know but it suits me quite well.

RLS with pain
I have suffered with RLS most of my adult life. It was in our family long before it had a medical diagnosis or a name. Our name got it was “ nervous legs”. My mother had it, I had it and now my two sisters have it. Occasionally my son and daughter also have it. It sounds genetic but actually it is not

opiates
eventually lose their effectiveness and have to be increased but this pain now is different to anything I normally have.. I just hurt all over.

Opiates and cellulitis ?
So I have chronic Pain from multiple fractures in my spine that I discovered after they were healed, T12 L1-5 and a few herniated discs in my neck. My Drs prescribe my oxycodone which I'm EXTREMELY careful with taking considering all the recent negative news surrounding the "opioid epidemic". It seems

A cautionary tale
About 34% of all people who take
opiates
will develop afib or other heart issues. The studies are easy to find and had someone told me that I don’t believe I would have taken them for 7 years. Quitting the
opiates
wasn’t that bad.

Follow up to AFib post
Two of my doctors suspect my body is experiencing a boomerang effect from quitting
opiates
a month ago. If that holds out to be true I’ll be going off the Diltiazem because it will be too much if my heart recovers. If not the Diltiazem is doing a pretty good job keeping things in line.

Anyone quit burprenorphine or opiates cold turkey?
I’m going into my fourth week without pain meds. I had been on buprenorphine since 2012 for a number of things including latent cancer effects. I finally got to the point where they weren’t working past ten minutes and then the pain rebounded even worse. The pain is actually tolerable now but I can

He hates the effect THC produces but he hates the
opiates
more. So we will be adding some kind of edible to better his appetite and lessen any pain he has. Since the cancer is primarily in his abdomen he has a considerable amount of discomfort. So hopefully that will help with those things.

Opiate use and sleep.
It is really interesting that it recognises the use of
opiates
for rls and the distinction between that and the much higher doses for chronic pain. This may be useful for some of us to have as support where a doctor may have 'qualms' about continuing with opiate prescription.

Two weeks post RP
There was significant pain, but the
opiates
helped a lot. Five days went by before the first bowel movement, which was awkward and a bit painful but they are getting better. My big concerns, like everyone else, is incontinence and erectile function.

Really difficult morning
I’ve tried things like being briefly addicted to
opiates
and pills, (haven’t done that in some time) kratom, then energy drinks and then I found these energy drinks that are supposed to enhance your mood. I would do just about anything to help myself without doing any actual work. A quick fix.

What is Cellulitis?
I just got the second series of my pneumonia shot and second series of the new shingles shot, both in the same arm. By that same evening, my arm was swollen, I got the chills so bad I couldn’t get warm. I frantically searched for our heating pad to get warm. I couldn’t stand up straight because my lower
