Medical marijuana. Anyone on that plan?

I've been a fan of marijuana for a few decades, even spent several years guerilla farming while in college. Money from marijuana sales paid for all my books; this was before computers. So I have experienced and researched this product for many years. Though it does provide some degree of relief from pain it is not a panacea. Personally I think most states that legalized medical use only did so as a distraction from those of us withdrawing from or suffering from withdrawals to the opiates we had so diligently been taking for years. All of a sudden opiates are too dangerous for adults to even have in the household. But marijuana is suddenly semi-legal regardless of it's Sched. 1 classification. Right up there with heroin and cocaine. The state must realize that they cannot compete with the black market. Legal pot is cash only while your dealer may take trade-ins or IOU's. With my guy I get more for my money and it's stronger. Insurance loves it cause they don't have to pay. Would love to see the feds drop it's classification and tell insurance it's now a medical product and they must pay. That would be a joyous day for millions of sufferers across the country. And many insurance companies will fold. The green will continue to flow in both directions regardless of the money market. The actor Michael K. Williams said "When the system fails you, you create your own system." Has the system failed you? What do you do about it? Really though I'm trying to see how many will admit to marijuana use for pain or other discomforts that they used to take pills for and/or their results and opinions.
