Kratom, the latest FDA headache. Anyone take kratom?

Since the Great Opiate Withdrawal of the last decade many millions of chronic pain sufferers were thrown under the bus with no lifeline. Some went to the streets, many died seeking non-pharmaceutical relief. There is nothing to match opiates, face it. I heard about kratom, researched, purchased and experimented. I personally took it for, like so many others, pain relief from the withdrawals. Perhaps it was the placebo effect, perhaps it really did work, I don't know but it suits me quite well. For about 8 yrs. now I've been taking kratom almost daily. For me, it works. Wondering if anyone else is on this bandwagon?

I just started this today, my first dose an hour ago, for relief of peripheral neuropathy pain.

I intend to keep very low dose and skip days in between.

I need a lasting solution and your post gives great hope.

How are you managing your pain on this with such great success? I am starting on a green maeng da and will try the red maeng da for nighttime increased pain mgmt and sleep.

Have you used these and what do you recommend from your experience ?
