Omega 3 fatty acids
I have extremely dry skin and wondering if I should take omega 3 fatty acids. I cannot eat sardines or tuna as have reactions to tinned fish. I probably do not get any omega 3. Cannot eat nuts either. Which are best supplements to take and good absorption?

Zoledronic acid infusion for osteoporosis- I have to consider this
To fill in some historic details: I was treated for many years by Katharina Dalton for Premenstrual Migraine and Sinusitis using natural progesterone (Gestone Injections). Successfully. I hadn't been able to work for nine years but after treatment started went back to work full time. When she retired

Levothyroxine sodium loaded dissolving microneedle arrays for transdermal delivery
Have been waiting for this for, umm, years! Especially since many recent mentions of microneedle arrays for other medicines. And suddenly fell across it today. The idea that we just might have an option to avoid oral delivery of thyroid hormones is spectacularly great news. It might not be the best

Azelaic acid and asthma
Hi, I have been prescribed a skin treatment for my rosacea that includes Azelaic acid. I have read that it could worsen my asthma, which is already severe. Has anyone any experience of azelaic acid? Thanks

Differing Rheumatologist opinions and Alendronic Acid
I am a bit befuddled so thought I would turn to The Oracle. Apologies for the epistle. I have been in gradually increasing pain (the air has become blue) in my groin, right hip and leg since July. I increased my Pred from 5 mg to 10 mg but it had no effect. My doctor (from a telephone conversation

Sacrum tumor
Anyone have experience with a Sacrum tumor? Onc. wants to do a needle biopsy, then radiation but reading up on this, IF it shows a Chordoma, radiation is only done AFTER surgery and a surgical team should be standing by ready to go if it is a chordoma as the needle will spread it immediately and it's

Asking a question on behalf of my Mum with regards to a hysterectomy. Ladies who have had it what did you keep?
My mum is 51 has always suffered with extremely heavy periods and as she has gotten older this has gotten significantly worse. After being put on iron tablets and tranexamic acid by the GP with not much relief she was referred to a gynaecologist. The gynaecologist examined her and said her uterus

imuran
I have been on Imuran 50mg for over 3 years and will be on it another 2 for autoimmune hepatitis. I also have PBC and take ursodiol for that. Imuran has lowered my liver levels and has kept them stable for me. It suppresses your immune system but it’s manageable. My dr is hoping that after being on it
