What pain relief do you use?
Following on from my thread, I just wondered what pain relief you use? Naproxen, paracetamol, Mefenamic acid have done nothing for me. I'm currently on co-codamol 30/500 which is working but is saying my constipation to be worse than it is already. Does anyone use Amitriptyline? Thinking it might help

So I was diagnosed with endometriosis in my early 20s, I'm now 37. I've had a couple of surgeries and a 6 month course of Zoladex during this time. I've tricycled my pill and also had a mirena coil, which was removed due to bleeding after 3 years of having it. My endo symptoms have got worse over the

adding Alendronic acid side effects ?
I am wondering what others have experience when on Zoladex ADT (4.5 months of 24 + RT) of adding Alendronic acid (for osteoporosis) Had first one 5 days ago and am having muscle pain - seems rather quick and wondering if it’s the Zoladex accumulation and is the muscle and fatigue just getting worse

Esomprazole, stomach issues and calcium deficiency
When I was diagnosed with PMR in March 2021, I was prescribed Omeprazole and Alendronic Acid. The Omeprazole made sense as I have a history of stomach upsets. I resisted the AA until a DEXA scan identified osteoporosis and osteopenia. I switched to Risedronate because I could not tolerate the AA. I

RA question
I have been on hydroxychloroquine for approx 5 weeks now and my scalp has become extremely itchy and flaky. Checked with the pharmacist and it can be a side effect of taking the medication. My question is A. Will this go away as my body adjust to the medication And B. Will a special shampoo help

high cholesterol taking D3
hi, I suffer from Hashimotos, Sjögren’s and whatever osteopenia means. I’m now worried as to avoid taking Alendronic acid for osteopenia I’ve been taking D3+K2 and magnesium. I’ve just had my blood test results although D3 hasn’t come through yet, but my bad cholesterol has increased from 5.75 to 7.81

Fungus used in Chinese medicine improves sleep in rodents (and also impacts glutamine/glutamate)
This isn't an easy read but, if the results can be relied on, looks promising https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8837518/ Abstract Ganoderma resinaceum is a valuable Chinese medicine. This study aimed to investigate whether a G. resinaceum alcohol extract (GRAE) improves sleep, and analyze

Alendronic acid
Hi. Since I need steroid tablets several times a year, my doctor also prescribed me Alendronic acid. I got very upset about it. Have any of you had any experience with these tablets? Thank you in advance for your answer.

Alendronic Acid and drugs to help pred reduction
Hi , I was prescribed Alendronic Acid when I started taking Prednisilone in March 21. My dexa scan showed -1.9 in the hip and -2.1 in the neck. And as a woman age 65 I guess that makes it important to protect my bones. Do most people take AA or opt for alternative options? My Rheumatologist seems to
