Hello all - I have Primary Biliary Cholangitis, I haven't seen it mentioned at all on this site and woul love to chat to other people with this disease......I was diagnosed last September and am currently taking Ursodeoxycholic Acid and Rifampecin for the itching ....early days for me but it would be really helpful to connect with others in a similar situation .......Thank you for reading and hope to hear from someone soon!

hi ….. i have pbc and overlapped with aih . was diagnosed Jan 2022 . luckily I don’t have an itch !!! Only thing I get is tiredness x

Hi i too have PBC diagnosed in Jan 23 Im also on Urso

I have occasional itch on my shins and use Dermol500 lotion which helps

Tired pretty much all the time

Bone scan shown i have Osteopenia

To take Calcium & VitD also have 2cysts on liver but Gp doesn’t seem to be worried about them🤷🏼‍♀️

Trying to see if my diet is effecting itch and some pain in liver area

On a happy note this website & PBCfoundation are great for advice &tips

hi I also have PBC I’m taking Urso too ! Itching not to bad but have a dry mouth which I got a saliva spray which doesn’t really help. I was diagnosed in March 2022 and have not had alcohol since and improved my diet and lost 2 stone !
