Taking Progynova after egg collection?
Hello lovely ladies I'm about to start my second fresh cycle in about 3 weeks and I've just received my prescription from the clinic. I'm a bit confused though because they've prescribed me oestradiol valerate (Progynova) to take along with my progesterone pessaries after egg collection. Has anyone else

Allergic reaction
Hello sisters, Was wondering if anyone ever had an allergic reaction to exemastane (Aromasin). Or any other estrogen blocker. The under part of my chin and neck looks like I have acne and it’s crazy itchy. Thanks Anna 💗

Why do you need cholesterol?
This was copied from an email I got so don’t go shooting the messenger if you don’t agree :). “I have been trying for years, decades actually, to raise my cholesterol. Finally after a more significant (call it strict if you like) change in diet, it’s happening and that’s a good thing. You see, low cholesterol

Covid during FET meds
Hi team, so... despite a Day 2 PCR test coming back negative on Saturday after a much needed holiday, I took a lateral flow test for work this morning and it's positive. I'm also on day 7 of estrogen patches and tablets, etc. for my upcoming FET. I expect the answer is that this cycle will be cancelled

Hello.
I’ve been told I’m due to start HRT imminently. ( patches ) I’m told this will help replace the
oestrogen
my body doesn’t currently have, I will be taking it without a break and my next review is just before Christmas.

IVF ladies - when did you stop progesterone and estrogen?
Hi everyone. For any IVF ladies, I wondered when you stopped progesterone and estrogen. Did you stop cold turkey or did you gradually wean off? I had a frozen transfer and am now 9 + 4. My clinic have supplied enough meds for me to continue until 12 weeks for my own peace of mind although their standard

HRT - Gel or Patch?
I’ve had Endometriosis excised as well so will be looking at combined HRT which may well be patch/gel
oestrogen
and pill form for progesterone. Thanks in advance for any experiences.

Lining thickness varying ?
I went for my day 9 scan, preparing the lining with
oestrogen
tablets for FET. They did a scan and found my lining was triple layer and initially measuring 7.7mm .The doctor moved the probe around and the thickness kept getting less and less from 6.4 to 4.5mm.

Oestrogel and utrogestan
Hi, I'm 51, post menopausal for about 5 years. I have IBS which has worsened since I had a hip replacement last year. My GP put me on Oestrogel and utrogestan in May this year in the hope that it would help I use 2 pumps a day and utrogestan vaginally every 2nd day. My stomach is still not behaving,

Update on oestrogen treatment for non absorption of liothyronine. A warning!
This is because
oestrogen
blocks levothyroxin absorbtion.

Why isn’t body identical progesterone (Utrogestan) used to treat endometriosis? Surely it could help & less side effects than synthetic.
With the theory being that
oestrogen
stimulates endometriosis and progesterone suppresses it, why have I only ever been put on synthetic forms of progesterone? I’ve been on the contraceptive pill, depot provera, Mirena coil and Prostap injections.

IVF cancelled due to rising LH??
Hi all, So we’ve had another bit of bad news - our 5th round of IVF has been cancelled because my LH levels were too high and my
oestrogen
levels were not rising quick enough so our doctor said this would not be a ‘good round’ and therefore cancelled it.
