my doctor prescribed me prochlorperazine when I started with tinnitus and it seemed to calm me down, I think it treats anxiety as well as sickness and dizziness. It’s not an antidepressant, not sure what kind of medication it is to be honest but it calmed me down. I was sleeping ok and because it keep

Inverted Appendix and Stage 4 Endo
Hi all, I hoping someone has been through similar so I can connect with someone who has similar feelings. I've just been diagnosed with stage 4 endo. My womb, ovaries, tubes and appendix have all stuck to my bowels. I am in terrible pain when passing my bowels on a daily basis so I had a colonscopy

Diverticulitis
I am 75 years old. On Thursday morning I awoke with terrible abdominal pain and diarrhoea followed by heavy blood loss. I was very frightened. I went to A and E where I was looked after really well. They gave me painkillers and X-rays and a CT scan. I had diverticulitis and inflammation of sigmoid colon

Ferrous sulphate
Can anyone help please with the best time of day to take these tablets? Or any experience with having taken them? It's all well and good to say take on an empty stomach, but they seem to cause reflux and when one is already taking PPI 's for acid reflux this is no easy task. Also advised by GP

Loss of Balance
I was diagnosed with AN 5 years ago and it has remained under watch and stable at 18mm. However, I am increasingly having balance problems. Turning over in bed and my head becomes totally disorientated for a few seconds, and when getting up need to sit on edge of bed for a couple of minutes until head

Glaucoma along with advanced AMD (GA stage)
Hi all, I am new to this forum and would like an opinion from the experts here. My father has glaucoma in both eyes and unfortunately, by the time it was diagnosed, his vision in right eyes was 30% remaining only. This was almost 12 yrs back. His left eye was the savior for us so many years till 2018

IBD and RA
Hi, I’m going through some investigations for IBD atm - the gastroenterologist is being very thorough and linked the inflammatory markers to my RA quite quickly. Does anyone else have any experience of living with both conditions? What sort of things should I be asking and looking for? Thank you in advance

Gas in CT Simulation
Did anyone have trouble getting good imagery in CT simulation or have advice? Went on a low residue diet to prepare for CT simulation. Both times too much gas for imaging despite cutting out so much fiber and plants from diet. I read that about a practice in Austin, TX suggesting Gas-X (simethicone)

more bleeding and pain after Colonoscopy 2 weeks ago
Hi all, Wondering whether anyone else has experienced worse symptoms (particularly more bleeding) following colonoscopy? it’s nearly 3 weeks later and bleeding worse than before the procedure. Gastro refuses to acknowledge this - she says I’m just in a bad flare. I can’t understand why it is worse

The Effect of Intranasal Oxytocin in Patients With Functional Motor Symptoms: A Preliminary Open-Label Case Series
I think I may have FND. I have these jerks and subtle lurches that would not fall under PD (and I have not been diagnosed with PD). I have been diagnosed with REM Sleep Behavior Disorder, which is likely a sign of something not good coming, but I am working on heading that not good thing off at the pass

I'm 61 years old, female. I recently went for a routine PE and when my labs came back, the doctor said "we need to watch your WBC". I was surprised and decided to do my research after looking at the details of the lab report. I almost wish I hadn't, because it wasn't just my WBC that was high

Repeat Lutetium/ Pluvicto treatment
Hello all, I am just curious if anyone has experience doing additional lutetium treatments. I did three lutetium treatments from September 2021 to January 2022. My Denver oncologist is concerned about bone marrow toxicity , but he does not have enough experience with this treatment to say for sure.
