Update(My Experience): Day 21 after Circumcision Fully Healed: Fast Healing: Removed my Stitches: Foreign Body
Please, don't do as I did, please visit your GP for advice. The reason I could tell there was something wrong with my cut is that all my wounds heal so so fast. Straight into it, I am doing so well actually. Amazingly well. But this is how I managed to accelerate my healing. What happened was that

Kidney problems
I have recently started Anastrazole and Adcal and Alendronic Acid tablets for bone density. My cancer is progressing and I don't believe the Anastraxole is having any positive effect. I also have a morphine patch for pain relief. In the last week I find that I am not urinating as frequently as usual

Worried about Osteoporosis diagnosis and weather to take Alendronic Acid
Hello, I’ve just been diagnosed with Osteoporosis in my spine. I have no figures of the Dexa scan. My GP spoke to me on the phone. Feel upset and cross about it. Should I find out more before going on the medication?

What does this mean?!
Hi there - my last scan (2020) showed I have osteoporosis in my L1,2,3 &4. The Tscore was -2.5, meaning a -3.5%change since the 2015 scan (at which point I just had osteopenia in my spine). I also have a 6.5% chance of a “major of a major fracture”. My calcium levels were deemed to be fine but Alendronate

Sleepless in California
It has been quite some time since I’ve slept through the night. Been on Prednisone for 5 weeks 20mg tapering started on August 1st to 15 per rheumatologist schedule. Does anyone know of a safe sleep aid with prednisone to help sleep through the night?? I was wondering if ok to take CBD gummies??

Sjogrens etc
I would be very grateful for advice...it's probably something I should know already. I have Sjogrens, probably Lupus (or some sort of overlap) and Hashimoto's. I feel pretty rubbish quite a lot of the time...but know that I need to really think about what I can do to look after myself to try to avert

Are Food supplements worth a try?
Hi all, I have recently been hospitalised with an endo flare requiring a significant amount of opioids to help with the pain. i have read online that omega 3, turmeric and ginger root supplements are good at acting as an anti-inflammatory and are helpful in relieving long term chronic pain. I

Insomnia with heart failure
Hi. I'm on heart failure medications. I'm keeping well and still enjoying long walks with the dog. A number of side effects from the meds but suffer lots of nights where I wake after a few hours and can't get back to sleep. I usually take half a 25g sleep aid which help. But the pharmacist got quite

Hi, The general advice to eat “healthy” for good cardiovascular function sounds sensible. eg less saturated fat and salt; more green vegetables; kale; spinach; berries eg blueberry; alcohol in moderation - especially red wines with resveratrol (antioxidant) eg Malbec etc. (In fact, alcohol in moderation

I have osteoporosis and have incurred several spinal fractures
I am now being asked to take alendronic acid and I’m a little scared. This seems to have so many severe side effects. Does anyone have any advice on this?

Biliary Atresia
My daughter had a Kasai procedure a little over a month ago. We noticed today her stool went from bright yellow to pale cream. No temperature, normal appetite and very active. GGT levels fluctuate from 252 to 180 to 352. Could GGT be a factor? Anybody else have experienced a similar case? Did you require

Medichecks Result and a warning about testing & HRT
Apologies for the long post (my first) and thank you if you manage to get to the end of it. Bit of history first (there's more in my bio), after 7 years of being bedbound with a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, I was finally prescribed combination T3/T4 in 2018. I hadn't had my bloods checked since 2019

Hashimoto's, levothyroxine intolerance. Help please anyone?
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's in February 2021, following a routine blood test, and put on 25mcg levothyroxine and was fine. In June 2021 my dose was increased to 50mcg. Again, I thought I was fine, although in hindsight, I think I may have been having side effects, but due to working etc missed

Latest Consensus on Omega-3, Aspirin & Curcumin?
So in finishing up my deep dive into supplements, these were the three I had the most trouble making any definitive personal conclusions about so I wanted to do a review before putting them to bed to get any last input. My general feeling is without well-designed long-term studies (not retrospective

Change in hair texture/appearance while on Ibrance/Faslodex
I am on Ibrance/Faslodex since early June. Before that I had 1 1/2 cycles of Kiskali but had a severe adverse reaction and had to stop. My hair started thinning on Kiskali, it is now shedding big time and I have lost about 50% of my hair. and the texture and appearance of my remaining hair has changed

Pain and stiffness - menopause or something else?
Hi. I was put on pred, mycophenolate and alendronic acid for 2 years in 2008 after several strokes and many tests which concluded in a diagnosis of primary (cerebral) vasculitis. I recovered exceptionally well and still take blood thinners now. In 2020 I developed numerous menopause symptoms including
