scared with my lab levels. I’m told I’m in danger, but I don’t feel horrible? Looking for advice. I’m confused and anxious
I haven’t posted here in a while because since last year I have made HUGE progress with healing my thyroid and hashimotos. I got on NDT, and upped my LDN. I changed diet and lifestyle stuff and FEEL so much better than last year. I lost weight, my skin cleared up, but I have also been through an immense

Changing from NDT to T3 What dose of T3 should I take to equal the amount of T3 in the NDT?
Hello allFor the past 18 mths I have been combo dosing with levo and NDT. Levo: 75/50mcg on alternate days. Efra: 30mg once a day. Ordered some NDT from Europe 6 January still not received them. Hence, I have ran out of NDT over five days ago, feeling really rough now, so my only option is to dose with

Is Radium223 treatment suitable option for me now
DX in 2020 with Stage 4 PCa and have done full course of Chemo treatment. Have been on Abiraterone for over 18 month but now it seems to be failing as PSA is continually rising; now 18 (was 2.39 back in April 2022) . I'm now mCRPC and still taking Abiraterone, ADT and Zometa. Signed up for new trial

Is it dangerous if FT3 goes over range? On ERFA NDT only.
My last consultation with private Endo in November was we agreed I stay on 2 grains daily, split 7.00am 2.00pm. Although nearing top of FT3 range he felt there was still a bit of room if it continued to rise and also wanted to see if my main symptoms, constipation and poor quality sleep improved. In

Blood tests to monitor while on ADT..etc
Hi, Currently, on ADT, I'm about four months in on Lupron of an 18-month prescription. Trying to do all the right things (diet/exercise.e.tc). I'm meeting with my RO in March, for the 3-month reivew, so I will test PSA and testosterone, but I also wonder if there are any other tests I should consider

Salvage Radiotherapy Info in UK
My PSA seems to be definitely on the move, latest is 0.11 up from 0.085 taken 3 months ago, full history is in my profile. I am sure SRT is now on the cards. There seems to be much to consider about dose (64-70Gy), target area (prostate bed with or without lymph nodes) and short term ADT, which is summarised

Collagen Peptide supplements and bone quality
Y'all are familiar by now that ADT leads to accelerated BMD (bone mineral density) loss. There are a series of things that can be done -- 1, Get a DEX scan now 2, Supplement with Calcium, K2, D3 and magnesium 3, Have your MO or whoever put you on BMD medication (eg denosumab, et al) Now comes

Groundhog Year
Another year passes and the annual blood test causes its usual issues. I did get retested because of an abnormal result serum calcium concentration 2.19 mmol/L (2.20-2.60) They did the test uncuffed and I crept into range. TSH <0.01miu/L (0.49 - 5.23) like this since starting Liothyronine in

Can someone please remind me of how far through ranges is usually best?
I’ve just used the thyroid calculator for my latest results, see attached, any thoughts welcome. My TSH is 0.01 but it’s surpressed because I take NDT. Current dose 100mcg thyroxine, 1/2 grain ERFA twice daily. Many thanks (Bloods taken inline with protocol suggested on this site)

What on Earth's going on?
How can an increased dose of NDT result in an increased TSH! Like most on here I wouldn’t normally worry too much about TSH but I’m consulting a private endo and he clearly does think it’s relevant so I need to respect that. Also, I’m decidedly not as well as I was before the dose increase/decrease in

combination of NDT and t4?
Just reaching out to see if anyone else is on a NDT with an added t4. Unable to increase NDT due to t3 going over range. I ended up adding in t4 50mcg to 1 grain armour. I then switched to 125mcg (gradually increased to this over the past 7 months) plus a 5mcg of t3 compounded. well I feel dreadful

ADT and ED Meds?
I am just starting Orgovyx and it's working well.... too well as far as ED is concerned. I had no significant issues prior to ADT with achieving an erection and orgasm. So at a minimum I'm pretty motivated to try and get it back in some form or fashion or at least do whatever I can prophylactically

Does anyone actually have an NHS 'named patient basis' for NDT?
Hi all, I hope everyone is well . I am doing a lot better nowadays, having been on Armour for about 9 months now. My memory is much better, I have more energy (and a full-time job in health research :) ), my muscles no longer ache, and I don't have random dizzy/fainting spells. My stomach bloating is

Does anyone take NDT at night?
Hi I’m thinking about swapping my meds to nighttime. I currently take a combination of ERFA and thyroxine first thing, and then another 1/2 grain of ERFA at lunch. But my calcium is very low and I need to take multiple doses at the moment which is tricky with thyroid meds. So I’ve been thinking

question about hypothermia?
a couple weeks back, I visited my Kaiser infusion lab …. Lupron implant and Zometa pain train infusion. While there the intake nurse was alarmed with my 95.2 body temp. It’s been running between 95.2 and 95.7 lately. She told me to go to the E.R. , immediately, if it dropped to 95 or less. They were

ADT Emotional Lability Do Antidepressants Help?
Dear All, I’m dealing with the emotional lability of ADT and was wondering if Antidepressants helped? Just curious about others experiences. I have tried escitalopram but was deathly nauseous 3 days in and stopped taking it and haven’t tried anything else. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
