Success or otherwise of Taking Levothyroxine Plus Metavive ?

Does anyone have experience of taking these two to get and stay well ? Or was it a disaster?

As someone who just CANNOT get well on Thyroxine alone..

And having tried NDT at length..

For about 8 months been on a mix of Metavive and Levo..

I only take 25 mcg Levo..clearly not enough in itself…

And Metavive 111 x2 isn’t quite enough ..and 3 is too much…

Spent months trying to to raise it further but that’s it now.

Am going to give

2.5 Metavive plus the Levo 25 a try.

Can anyone usefully comment please ..it would be good to hear of YOUR experience of a similar scenario.

I use Metavive and take a mix of III (bovine) and I (porcine). Perhaps two of one and one of the other might suit you better.
