Next Move
I've been on Lupron, Zytiga, Prednisone for 3 years now and it appears that it has run it's course. I am grateful that it has worked for this long, but it appears I will be needing to make a move to the next therapy. My PSA has gone from 14 to 71 over the last six months and ALP has jumped to 190 after

Husband is on the 5th of 6th isotopes in study. He has had very little side effects(if any). We are hearing that it is close to having FDA approval. PSA has dropped to 0.32. We are hoping to get many months without any treatment other than lupron.

PSMA Results
A PSMA scan last week revealed I have stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. It's in my pelvic lymph nodes and those behind my stomach. I'll receive my first lupron injection after two weeks of bicalutamide, which I started Monday, followed by 2 more weeks of bicalutamide. Week 5 I begin daily xtandi and

How Long Is A Long Time?
Hi Gents, I am just curious how many other “long haulers” we have in this group? I have had PCa for 16.5 years. I was diagnosed Stage IV, aged 45. I am now 62. PSA recently went up from 1.0 to 1.4; not losing any sleep over it. After 40+ months of Erleada, Lupron and Xgeva, I am taking a 4 month holiday

Lupron vs. Coco- who will prevail?
Lupron it promises, to take away my desire, yet Coco continues, to light, up my fire. . To measure my pleasures, one must know the measures. To which that you go, to fulfill all my pleasures. . My body lacks T, no question of that, Now you start most encounters, my libido’s gone flat. .

Time to radiation treatment
Hi Everyone, In May 2020, my PSA was undetectable and CT and bone scans showed small lesions in a regional lymph node (I am on Lupron, Zytiga, and had chemo). Since last August my PSA has increased slightly from .03 in Aug, .05 in November, and .06 last December. Because the increase in PSA was small

EBRT Experience
Recently completed my 23 sessions of 2 Gy each - about 2/3 of dose if EBRT was sole therapy. I'm on Lupron for 18 months (6 down), and have brachytherapy in 2 weeks. All in all not too bad for the EBRT - seems it was cumulative within a week and overall. I kept active - climbing 2x a week,

Amazing
Recurring Prostate cancer revealed 1 month ago, PSA at 9.0. Started Zitiga, Prednisone and Lupron. After one month, PSA "undetectable". Not sure what the next step might be, but I am excited to find out.

Lupron Substitute
I was given Lupron every 3 months for my first 9 months and then switched to something that was injected into my abdominal muscles every 3 months. Any idea of what the second round was and it’s effectiveness? I was told that there was a shortage of Lupron during the pandemic. Now back on Lupron. Thanks

Sources of PSA During ADT Break
I asked this question several years back and TA gave me an answer, which I cannot find. So, I am asking the question again. My prostate cancer took an unusual path since brachytherapy in 2011 for Gleason 3 + 3 low volume cancer. First I had a local recurrence in 2016 and lymph node (pelvic and abdominal

Calcium Supplements Edited with more Info
Jim's Calcium level has been around 10 since Dec 2020. He had his first Lupron shot Jan 2021. Abiraterone started Mar 2021. He has been on 1000mg of Oyster Shell Calcium and when I recently reviewed her instructions from 2020 I realized she had wanted him to take 650mg calcium citrate or carbonate

68Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT scan again. I forgot the prerequisites for qualifying.

Xtandi and sex
I'm looking to start Xtandi WITHOUT Lupron or its equivalents. My question is "does Xtandi destroy libido like Lupron?" Any user responses will be appreciated.
