What types of food to eat with Nubeqa, to help protect the liver or other organs?
Would something like this be advisable with
Nubeqa
, or would this just reduce the effectiveness of the
Nubeqa
. I know we are taking food to help absorbability of the
Nubeqa
, but it also, probably reduces toxic load on the liver.

Positive results, Pluvicto
I am still on
Nubeqa
and Lupron (every three months), plus Pluvicto. FINDINGS: PROSTATE: No focal tracer activity in the prostate to suggest residual/recurrent primary prostate neoplasm. LYMPH NODES: Improving or resolved PSMA avid metastatic nodes above and below the diaphragm.

Chemo with Docetaxel - side effects
I started triple therapy over a month ago with Eligard and
Nubeqa
, Zometa for bones, and Docetaxel chemo (with daily prednisone). Gleason 10, RP with 12 lymph nodes all negative, but then quickly went metastatic to multiple bones - too many for radiation to be effective.

My brother has advanced Prostate cancer
Currently he has hormone therapy every 3 months and
Nubeqa
. His MO told him at this point we can not do any thing and just clinical trials have left. I want to ask some of you that are in the same situation that what is the next step? Unfortunately he failed the triplet therapy.

Cyberknife For Periaortic Lymph Nodes
I’ve had chemo and I’m on Lupron and
Nubeqa
. My last PSA was 0.055. I’m feeling pretty good physically. I’m meeting with my MO for a consultation in July and I’m planning to propose Cyberknife. Any opinions or feedback you can share would be appreciated.

idea?
Xtandi was discontinued due to severe side effects and he was started on
Nubeqa
. Side effects not near as bad but still there, the tremor stayed. Doc out him on 2 week vacation from
nubeqa
to see what happened. Tremors lessened but didn't stop.

When, or if at all, to add Nubeqa
PSA remains <.05 Should I be thinking about adding
Nubeqa
or not? And if so, when?

PSA Question
He finished chemo the end of December 2022 and has Lupron shots every six months and takes
Nubeqa
(darolutimide) everyday. (Triple therapy) He feels good but still deals with fatigue and shortness of breath. Your thoughts, if any? TIA ❤️

When to add Lynparza?
My question: is there any downside to add Lynparza to my current treatment of Lupron and
Nubeqa
, or would it be beneficial?

Nubeqa vs Abiraterone for post Docetaxel maintenance?
Now, my questions: First, I have read extensively about
Nubeqa
and it seems to be the better alternative for maintenance after Docetaxel. Outside of the cost issue, is there any reason not to switch from ABI to
Nubeqa
? Second, what should be my next steps after triple therapy?

Has anyone had their Cardiac Recovery Rate drop, shortly after starting Nubeqa/daro or another kind of 2nd line AR?
Have any of you had your Cardiac Recovery Rate (or Heart rate recovery) drop, shortly after starting
Nubeqa
/daro or another kind of 2nd line AR (zytiga, xtandi, erleada etc)?Prior to starting
Nubeqa
, my Cardiac recovery rate was between 29-33.

BAT question. A little worried about results.
My MO recommended adding Orgovyx to the
Nubeqa
and PSA went down to 6. I hate the sarcopenia and weakness and proposed trying BAT. My MO has had me stop
Nubeqa
for 4 weeks but stay on Orgovyx. During the four weeks off
Nubeqa
I’m getting weekly testosterone injections and rechecking T and PSA.

My brother has advanced prostate cancer
He started hormone therapy in October and Chemotherapy for 6 cycles in November and started to use
Nubeqa
around December. After 4 cycles of chemotherapy he had a scan for his lungs and it was all clear. But his PSA just dropped to 1.2 and was going up and down all these months.

My reaction to Crestor & Nubeqa combo. I need to make some adjustments. This study says simvastatin is best against APC. Your thoughts?
This probably was caused by the
Nubeqa
causing a buildup of Crestor in my system (one of the potential, negative interactions). I'm not sure if I'll try Simvastatin again or just go with 2.5mg of crestor and 2.5 of zetia per day, to see if that can raise the ldl closer to 70-90.

PSA rising, rapidly
I was (and still am) on a tripple therapy along the lines of the ARASENS trial (Docetaxel, Lupron and
NUBEQA
) for about 2 years. My PSA started rising six months ago, at first slowly, but now very rapidly.

He is now on
NUBEQA
and LUPRON. He is doing great and Works everyday as Dean of Business School at a University here in Dallas. His main negative symptom is cognitive decline. If he didn’t have such a great EA he couldn’t do the job because of difficulty with short term memory.

nubeqa only for non metastatic?
I was just reading here that
nubeqa
is approved only for non metastatic castration resistant. Husband had horrendous reaction to xtandi so they switched him to
nubeqa
but he has 2 bone mets? Should this have happened? What are better options?
