Can Nubeqa (Darolutamide) be used instead of normal ADT drugs for localized PCa?
Hi all. Australia has just given the green light to lower the cost of this so-called wonder drug from a staggering $40K (AUD) to a low $30. It seems that this drug has fewer side effects than the usual ADT drugs and from what I can gather does a pretty good job of preventing the growth and spread

Darolutamide ( Nubeqa) most well tolerated ARPI ?
From what I have been reading , is
Nubeqa
supposed to be the ARPI which most seem to tolerate well compared to the others ? Is it well studied to be effective long term as are Zytiga and Xtandi ?

Food supplements I hope will help
Will try
Nubeqa
, and may switch to Orgovyx after Eligard runs out in December. While ADT starves the cancer, I am taking some food supplements to help with side effects. I tried to select "healthy" supplements that may fight prostate cancer as well. I've included links to a paper on each.

PSA doubled 3 months after chemo - normal or a concern?
I’m currently on Lupron and
NUBEQA
, and completed 6 rounds of taxotere at the end of April (Triplet Therapy). PSA cut in half every three weeks while on the chemo going from 0.944 in January to 0.013 in April.

I want to try SARM's-Yes or No?
currently taking
Nubeqa
and Orgovyx and hate the sarcopenia I'm experiencing. I asked my MO about BAT and I've had two cycles of getting a month off ADT and receiving an injection of testosterone the month off of ADT before restarting ADT.

"treating PSA" vs "treating cancer" advice
When he was diagnosed he did triple therapy (docataxel, zoladex and
nubeqa
). He has now on zoladex injections (every 3 months) and
nubeqa
(darolutamide) tablets daily. Thankfully these medications have been working great for him, his PSA has stayed down and he's had very minimal side effects.

Darolutamide (Nubeqa) Vs Enzalutamide ( Xtandi)
Are there any studies comparing efficacy and side effect profile of darolutamide Vs enzalutamide when given together with first generation ADT ? I read that darolutamide does not cross blood brain barrier so may have lesser side effects ?

Short of breath
On Orgovyx,
Nubeqa
and Megace for last three months. Completing 27 of 27 fractions of radiation tomorrow. I am short of breath most of the time. A walk up a flight of stairs leaves me gasping.

Rising PCA - on ADT Holiday
Completed RT and 18 months on ADT (
Nubeqa
) paused the ADT in September after PSA non detectable and a fresh set of scans showed no “evidence of disease”. Continued to do bloodwork quarterly and PSA remained at 0. Until this week results came in at 1.2.

8/4/23 Update questions for MO
Erleada or
Nubeqa
9. Prostate cancer is found among people who take Vitamin b12, especially for people who are 60+ old, have been taking the drug for 2 - 5 years. I have been on it for 6 months I don't want to overwhelm my MO so which of these above do you think are worth discussing with him?

Pain post SBRT
Started on ADT (Firmagon and
Nubeqa
) in October 2023. Completed 6 cycles of docetaxel 4 wks ago. Started SBRT yesterday. My side effects thus far were all expected and I was prepared for them. Last night had severe back pain (8 out of 10) which lasted for 3-4 hours.
