TURP Prior to Radiation: Opinions?
All things considered, my problems with urination were pretty significantly reduced after chemo/Lupron/
Nubeqa
. So, my dilemma is this, I hadn't completely given up on the idea of getting a TURP so that I can get rid of my urination symptoms without taking Flomax.

Extreme fatigue
I switched to
Nubeqa
from Xtandi about a year ago due the sideffects from Xtandi, but it did not seem to do any good.

New To The Thread
I’m doing the triplet treatments with Lupron,
Nubeqa
, and taxotere (for chemo). My med oncologist has called it the STAMPEDE trial, although I’m not actually in a trial. I was diagnosed last August and recently finished chemo. I’m still on ADT.

NUBEQA (darolutimide) as MONOTHERAPY (no lupron or similar)?
I’ve seen two posts today in a couple of threads stating that they’re currently on
NUBEQA
, or will soon be as a monotherapy without first line ADT like casodex or Lupron. One gent says after 7 months he’s got testosterone levels of 700 with undetectable PSA and no progression on scans.

Relugolix/Orgovyx or Enzalutamide/Xtandi?
But, long story short, he has been on ADT vacation for 13 months following succesful treatment of metastatic disease with Triplet Therapy (six rounds of Docetaxel, Lupron, and first Abieraterone plus Prednisone and then he switched to
Nubeqa
).

Update, tumor in lymph node
Therefore, the patient will continue treatment with
Nubeqa
until further. Arrange a new check-up in 2 months with blood tests in advance."

Orgovyx + Nubeqa Dosing
I'm starting Orgovyx and staying on
Nubeqa
.
Nubeqa
is twice a day and Orgovyx is once. Probably a dumb question, but is it preferable to take the Orgovyx am or pm?

Has anyone had side effects from Nubeqa/Darolutimide?
Has anyone had side effects from

Nubeqa headaches?
Hi all, My dad started
Nubeqa
on May 11th as part of his triplet therapy. He noticed that he’s been getting headaches when he takes the pills. Some days the headache is more pronounced than others. I was wondering if others experienced this as well when taking
Nubeqa
?

Goat whey, casein, IGF-1 etc. - Do they promote or slow cancer growth?
FYI - while using darolutamide /
, I find that it takes even longer to recover from exercise, which is part of the reason I would like to add protein powder, in order to expedite exercise recovery, but I won't use it if I think it is accelerating the cancer growth.

Same Question Again…
He has recently become Castrate Resistant… and will be starting
NUBEQA
& Lupron together soon. He sees Dr. Rahul Aggarwal at UCSF and Dr. Antonarkis at UMN and Dr. Darshan Ghandi at Texas oncology in Dallas. We are in year 6 of this battle.

Time for a vacation, but worried about IADT
As backstory, next month I'll complete the "triple play" treatment plan that included ADT + Docetaxel +
Nubeqa
+ SBRT after recurrent low volume/high risk PSA. At the start of this round my PSA was 0.9 with a 4 month doubling rate and 2 "possible" hot spots on a rib and vertebra.

How much do you pay for Nubeqa with Medicare?
My husband's cost for
Nubeqa
is very high. It's 2023 and time to meet the new deductible of $3000.

Question on Genetic Testing, how much is too much?
It showed cdk12 and suggested a different medicine, he's on
Nubeqa
. (RO doesn't put much faith in liquid biopsy's, neither does the cancer Neurosurgeon he saw to confirm it's not a Cordoma).

To ARi or not to ARi, that is the question
So even though now I have a
Nubeqa
Rx at my disposal I don't take any drug lightly. And I just received my prostate tissue Decipher score of .36 (.45 is the high cutoff for low risk).

How long after chemotherapy you return to your "normal" pre chemotherapy?
my pre treatment Karnofsky index was 90-100 , now it is 70-80 😕 I'm also doing Lupron shots and
Nubeqa
which of course contribute to the lack of energy. best to all

Need Help with Next Gen ADT
He wants my to take
NUBEQA
® (darolutamide) - His first preference. Otherwise ZYTIGA® (abiraterone acetate) - his less preferred. I looked at side effects of both and see little to no difference other that abiraterone lists Infected nose, sinuses, or throat (cold) as a common side effect.

Orgovyx and Nubeqa in tandem?
Radiation and the addition of
Nubeqa
scheduled for mid-January. (1) Any information on the way Orgovyx and
Nubeqa
will interact with one another? (2) Opinions on stopping meds after 6 months, providing the PSA remains undetectable. (3) Is the radiation necessary at this point?
