23andme gene mutation report
Had my skype appt with Dr C last night regarding my mutation report from 23andme results. These are the main bits that he felt needed attending to CYP1a1, 1A2 --Phase 1 detoxification in the liver, which impair clearance of Estrogens, Xenobiotics (foreign chemical substance-like metals) GPX1, GSTP1-

clonidine treatment
Clonidine, an α2-adrenergic receptor agonist, decreases circulating norepinephrine and epinephrine, attenuating sympathetic activity. Although catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT) metabolizes catecholamines, main effectors of sympathetic function, COMT genetic variation effects on clonidine treatment

In this study, we will determine whether treatment with L- Dihydroxyphenylserine (L-DOPS, Northera) in addition to dopaminergic drugs will improve postural stability and activity of daily living, and reduce fall risk and/or severity of falls in PD patients.Falls, early in PD (within 5 years of diagnosis

wellbutrin (bupropion) potential problems
I got interested in Wellbutrin because it increases dopamine and norepinephrine. It's used a fair amount in PD for psychiatric problems (depression, panic attack obsessiveness, and lack of desire), but there are an uncomfortable number reports of it causing parkinson's symptoms. I think this is likely

We also analysed the association between the titter of the antiviral antibodies, some neurotransmitters (serotonin,
noradrenaline
and adrenaline) and different clinical symptoms.

Anyone taking these drugs?
I'm looking into the connection between mercury and PD as they both attack the same two brain regions that have the most dark neuromelanin cells, the SN and LC. Mercury poisoning is hard to distinguish from PD. They both exhibit tremors, anxiety, depression, lack of sleep, and inability to concentrate

Difference between depression and "depression". Found some interesting articles of why body temperature matters.
Was just googling around , searching link between ad's and body temperature. What I found was one study suggesting that often depressed people have elevated body temperature. Chemicals linked to depression (Serotonin, norepinephrine, dopamine) are also thermoregulatory chemicals. http://uanews.org

Sometimes, it really ISN'T all about the thyroid
The problem I have is trying to pin down which of the blasted neurotransmitters I'm low in (my money's on
noradrenaline
and dopamine) and trying to find a new AD which doesn't have major weight gain and blood glucose control problems associated with it as I'm already prediabetic.

1 anxiety leads to the next, & always some depression
At low dose you have GABA, Serotonin, Dopamine working unfortunately it also starts to hit the
Noradrenaline
receptors.

nexalin
Who here has used this treatment? Results? Recommendation? Advice? The Nexalin device creates a frequency waveform that seems to affect key brain structures that are involved in the regulation of its neurochemistry. Data suggests the Nexalin waveform effectively resets the hypothalamus of the brain,

Why does RLS disappear upon standing.? I don't have clue. Believe it or not ;)
I read some older articles about how epinephrine and norepinephrine levels rise (somewhat dramatically) but NOT dopamine when we go from a supine position to a standing one. I have no idea if this is why our RLS is relieved upon standing.
