Adrenal & thyroid

Hi guys

I have been getting bad palpitations- they wake me up at night they have gotten bad.

Resting heart rate 98-100

When l work l get so hot that sweat runs off me & l have to stop.

Had one halter monitor- inconclusive

Dr wants another one

24hr urine test showed high noradrenaline & adrenaline.

Did another one but the results arnt back yet

I get chest pain & pain up side of neck

Dry mouth is a pain

I just dont know what to do & lm getting frustrated about what to do to help myself.

I read about lipoma's being related to hypo- did l understand that right? I have 2 on my lumber area do l need to worry

Any advice welcome

Fed_up, sorry or the delay in replying. Ask for a thyroid function test, ideally including FT3, as thyroidless patients don't always convert sufficient T3 from Levothyroxine and sometimes need the addition of Liothyronine (T3). Fast heart rate and sweating are commonly overmedication symptoms but can also be due to undermedication. Ask for iron or ferritin to be checked as iron anaemia can also cause racing heart. If your mouth is perpetually dry ask your GP to test for Sjogrens, which isn't uncommon in hypothyroid patients.

I'm not aware of association between hypothyroidism and Lipoma, which isn't to say there is none. Perhaps you could Google it.
