Not sure how to feel!
15 months ago I was rejected by Papworth for a lung transplant as they said my oesophagus was too damaged and I wouldn’t survive the operation!!! Obviously, this initially felt like a death sentence as I felt that was it. Although the thought of going through a lung transplant scares the **** out of

lung cancer in soft tissue
My husband had kung cancer four years ago. It is back in the other lung and also in what the doctor says is in soft tissue. He said he didn't know what that meant. He has severe emphysema and his oxygen needs are very high. He will have a pet scan to determent if the cancer is anywhere else. The Doctor

Lung Cancer
Hi recently diagnosed with lung cancer and pleural infusion, this is slowly reducing via a drain. Have started immunotherapy as cancer is not curable but treatment will hopefully give more time. The amount of emotions racing through your mind are hard to cope with at times, I must admit.

My husband could benefit from some prayers
I haven't posted in a while but my husband can use some prayers. He was non-operable 2 years ago due to location of his lung cancer. He went through 2 types of chemo and radiation. They both failed. He was started on Opdivo but since has developed 5 new areas one near collar bone, another in lung and

Pathos Report from Transurethral Urinary Bladder Tumor Resection
Finishing the surgery, my urologist thought the bladder tumors were entirely superficial and it shouldn’t affect my status for getting a lung transplant (the parameters are cancer free, smoke free for at least two years). Turns out some were low grade, but some were high grade (actively growing). Very

Help please - bras post surgery
Hello, I was diagnosed with lung cancer a couple of weeks ago and I’ve just come out of hospital after an operation to get biopsies to determine exactly what type of cancer it is. I can’t wear my bras - even comfy non-wired ones - because they fit very close to the site of the incision and drains etc

Good evening all, My name is Claire and I am 22 years old. Last week I was diagnosed with Idiopathic Myelofibrosis. I am Jak 2 negative. Ever since I was 16 my platelets were increasing at an alarming rate and just now did my doctor figure out why. I had my first ever bone marrow biopsy done just last

Hip pain
So Ryan has been through the loop.. about every 30 days since August 23rd when we learned of his brain tumor something new has popped up.. the lung tumor that is 4.7cm and now left hip pain to the point where he can’t walk. Where did this come from? Is this a sign the cancer has spread to his bones?
