Hi recently diagnosed with lung cancer and pleural infusion, this is slowly reducing via a drain. Have started immunotherapy as cancer is not curable but treatment will hopefully give more time. The amount of emotions racing through your mind are hard to cope with at times, I must admit.
Lung Cancer: Hi recently diagnosed with... - Lung Conditions C...
Lung Cancer
You are not alone, a few of us here have lung cancer. I had SABR back in May this year and currently in remission. It is not easy coping with the whirling thoughts. I can only advise that you carry on with your life as normal. Worrying will not help and a waste of time and energy.
If you are still in work then that can help distract your thoughts.Try not to spend too much time alone as that does not help, with your thoughts, of course, gravitating back to your cancer again.
I wish you luck with the immunotherapy, there have been great advancements in that field.
Thinking of you. Take care😊
Thinking of you xx
I'm sorry for this tough time you are facing Ha22 . Take care. xx 🍁
Ha22, never say never, never give in and never give up. There are definitely those of us that have had/ still have lung cancer , and have more than beat the odds so far. All Best Wishes to You, judg69
Ha22, you have my deepest sympathy. The good news is there are treatments available. I would recommend doing things you like as much as you are able. My husband was unlucky he was diagnosed too late for treatment. I wish we had known he only had five weeks left. We could have done more nice things together. Make sure you do things you want to do.
Sorry to hear about your diagnosis - sending best wishes x
Keep thoughts distracted. We are with you!
