Prostap
Hi, I was put onto Zoladex a few years ago whilst I waited for my second Lap, I found it worked to manage the pain and to stop the symptoms of Endo. I was recently put onto Prostap whilst I wait for tests on my bowel. I’d been on the pill and this was slowly helping with my periods. But ultimately

castration after 7 years of ADT
I have been on Zoladex for nearly 7 years and am fully over any regrets of Chemical castration. My psa is now slowly rising and ghastly taken 2 years from undetectable to 0.65. I am considering surgical castration now as it would mean no more 3 monthly Zoladex injections and a reduced chemical load on

Next steps after cabazitaxel
Hello again - I've completed six chemo treatments with cabazitaxel alone. PSA has fallen from 83 in early July at the start to 5.1 a couple of weeks ago (after five treatments). I live in Nicosia, Cyprus, and am being treated here but I'm also a Mayo patient of Drs. Kwon and Orme. They have identified

Had enough, constant pain
have woken up in such pain today, and been in bed most Of the day. I’ve taken 2 lots of codeine, paracetamol and hot water bottle. I’ve never felt bed bound with this I can usually at least watch tv. I’m on day 4 since having my first Zoladex injection. I’m so fed up of this. Sorry a pointless message

Any advice regarding hemorrhaging
I am in such a mess. I went for a hysterectomy on 5th September due to large fibroids and flooding. When they got in they found endometriosis scar lesions have attached my cervix to my bowel and left ovary. They didn't touch it and I was offered Zoladex instead which I declined as the side effects put

PSA raise
Hello once again. My father completed 6 courses of docetaxel chemotherapy (last one on 23/05/2023) and he is getting Zoladex injections every 3 months. Last PSA result was 0.89 (14/07/2023). But as he was getting better and the effects of chemotherapy (mainly neuropathy) were subsiding, the PSA test

Add back hrt with Zoladex
Hi all, just after a bit of support/others’ experiences… I had my 3rd Zoladex last week and over the last 2 weeks menopause symptoms (muscle/joint ache, severe fatigue, palpitations etc) have kicked me hard. Previously prescribed Tibolone but massive headaches middle of the night so I tried to persevere

zoladex side effects
hi all. So I’m lying here awake again so thought I’ll add a post. I’m on month 2 of zoladex with the 3rd injection happening in less than a couple of weeks. And I’m really not convinced by them! I don’t think I’m any better off! Ok so my deep pelvic pain and erratic bleeding has worn off, however it’

Flare ups after Zoladex
Hi all, I just wanted to ask if anyone had had a similar experience. Last year I was given 9 months of Zoladex which was incredible (except the side effects) it kept my pain away for around 7 months after my last injection, which then came back with a vengeance. I was just wondering what anyone else's

No endo found
Dec 2021 I had endo removed between my bladder and abdominal wall, dense bowel adhesions noted. Mirena inserted. May 2022 the pain started again, lower left side and down my leg. All around mid and end cycle. Referred back to gynae. Since tried the progesterone only pill on top, had a normal mri

Slightly odd blood results
I seem to have a slightly raised adjusted calcium of 2.56 mmol/L after a blood test which is up from my usual 2.4mmol/L. I only take 1000mg vitamin D and 100mcg of K2 my level of serum vitamin D has been around 130 mmol/L for a while. I’m one year into Zoladex after RT for Gleason 9 localised PCa with

No longer in NED.
I am freaking out right now. Right before I decide to celebrate with friends for my 5 year milestone, the cancer is active again and I feel defeated. I want to cancel the party next week. It’s all very overwhelming. I am ER/PR pos, HER2 neg. I’m in a lot of pain and although I am awaiting a chest

Advice please.
Hi everyone I’m new to this site but wondered if anyone had any advice for me. I have been diagnosed with severe endometriosis which has extended to bowel bladder and lung. I had my first pneumothorax in 2018 and 2021 had an operation which has hopefully kept my lung up. Up until March this year, I

Zoladex and abdominal pain
Hello, I’ve just started another cycle of Zoladex for endometriosis. I had a 6 month cycle about 18months ago. Just curious to know if anyone else has experienced abdominal pain that is constant and quite intense? I can’t remember being in this much discomfort last time? I understand that it takes
