Anyone diagnosed with a haematosalpinx?
Hi, I’ve had endo for for 25 years and seem to have found a treatment/lifestyle that I’m happy with. To cut a very long story short, I was on Prostap for 2 years (previously on and off on Zoladex for two years). 6 months ago I started to get mild period-type symptoms, so my Dr agreed to put me back on

Endo & trying for a baby need advice
Hi ladies, I had my copper coil out on the 23rd of Aug I was told I was able to start trying straight away from my doctor as I was 8 weeks clear after one zoladex injection even though I haven’t had a period return yet since my injection. She said there was no need to wait they only tell you to do so

A history of PSA readings, how accurate are they?
Hi there everybody Im new and have just discovered this site and its so good to see many others who have tried different treatments for prostate cancer. My story began in June 2008 with a Gleason 4+5=9 and a PSA of 12.9. prior to radical prostatectomy to remove prostate. Post op PSA was nadir =0.03

Just fed up with the doctors
I honestly can't believe the journey I've had. I try to not feed into the idea that I'm being let down or have a victim mentality as I know it's unhelpful. I just try to deal with the reality of the now and not get worked up over what's happened or not happened. I've worked as a non medical doctor in

Naturopath Appointment.
I had a bit of a blow last week when I was told my treatment options for my endo. I was told my endo is growing within a fibroid and possibly elsewhere (it has varied from severe endo throughout pelvis with a cyst to only endo within a fibroid). They decided surgery would not be the best route as it

Cyberknife is in my future
Hey Guys, I have been advised (by my Uro and Radiation Oncologist and Medical Oncologist) that I need to get some local control as I haven't had a radiation to the prostate before. I was diagnosed Gleason 10 2.5 years ago and I've been through chemo (Docetaxel) ADT (Zoladex implants 3 monthly). Since

Don’t give up or allow Endometrosis to take away your joy.
Hello Everyone I haven’t posted anything in this group for more than 4 years. First of all I’d like to thank people that sets up this platform because I was at my lowest when I googled Endometrosis and found this group. I was at my lowest and contemplating suicide before I joined this group years ago

Zoladex
Hi ladies I am having zoladex injections for severe endometriosis whilst I wait to have a hysterectomy. I've had no bleeding for the first 3 months (apart from a heavy bleed for a few days after my 1st injection) but 2 weeks after my 4th injection I'm having a heavy period? Is this normal? Xx x

Has anyone tested for estrogen dominance? Planning on using progesterone cream.
I've been unhappy with my treatment option offered to me by my gynae (6 months Zoladex and then "we'll see"). I have an unusual endo presentation where it seems to be mostly growing inside a large fibroid that is growing outside my uterus and presses towards my back. It's possibly also elsewhere in my

Hi, I’m giving zoladex a chance having rejected it a year ago. The first month I felt excellent until i had a very big anxiety mood swing followed by a heavy bleed with flooding about a week before the next injection was due. This 2nd month is different. I feel low, depressed and prone to anger. I also

Terrible Flare Up
Hi everyone, guess I just need some moral support, a bit of a vent and maybe some advice. It's been 5 years now since my last surgery for endometriosis and I've felt pretty much the best I have since I started menstruating at the wonderful age of 11! Previously to that I had unpredictable pain all month

Had one injection of zoladex and decided not to continue the course. It has been 9 weeks now and still no period. My and husband are now trying for a baby which doctor said is fine but I forgot to ask if you can get pregnant even though I haven’t had a period since being off zoladex? Any advice please

in agony, after stopping zoladex treatment
I've written before, ive got endo, but was getting high fevers and severe pelvic pain and bleeding. Gyno said it was unheard of to have fevers with endo, but said to try zoladex and if that worked it would prove it was my endo. The injfections did stop all the pain and everything was great from pelvic

Zoladex Injection - anyone else?
Off to get this today to ‘shut down’ my periods etc for 3 months to see if the pain I still have after 2 laps and the mirena coil is definitely Endo/Gyne related - has anyone recently had this same injection? How has it been? They have offered me HRT too to lessen the menopausal systems, would you recommend

Pain in the Prostate (worse after TURP)
Hey Guys, I have two questions: 1) over the past 8-12 months I've had lots of pain in the prostate area. It can be stabbing pain or a dull ache, which keeps me awake at night. It gets much worse when I walk, mow the lawn or stand up for extended periods of time. My Uro said it could be prostatitis, but
