Hi ladies I am having zoladex injections for severe endometriosis whilst I wait to have a hysterectomy. I've had no bleeding for the first 3 months (apart from a heavy bleed for a few days after my 1st injection) but 2 weeks after my 4th injection I'm having a heavy period? Is this normal? Xx x

Evening ...

Everyone is different. I would say contact your GP as I have been having them since March - on my June one, I started to have a bit of a bleed and my GP said about if it continued then they may have to up the dosage.

Hope that has answered your question.

Just wondering how long are you to be on the Zoladex for?

Hi thanks for replying, I have only been having them for 4 months, just seemed strange that I've started bleeding after the 4th? Xx

Can happen any time .. best just to mention it to the gynaecologist your surgeon or GP so they can advise. As it maybe that it’s not working as you aren’t meant to have a period. Xx
