Memory loss!
Need advice I’ve been on Citalopram for about 18 months now. I was really low mood and anxious which was exacerbated by all the different drugs and horrendous pain due to stage 4 endo & my ectopic and they have helped. I’ve tried reducing multiple times really slowly but symptoms return very quickly.

Trying to find a balance - An impossible task!
Really finding myself struggling at the moment. Trying to find a balance. They messed my appointments up for my zoladex injections which meant I was supposed to go for it 4 weeks after I was due. Unbearable, luckily my gynae was a legend and managed to slot me in last minute to give it me today because

How long does the side effects of zoladex take to appear
I’m just wondering if anyone has had Zoladex and how long does it take for like the hot flushes and night sweats etc to start?

18 months on this journey...
Hi, I am Dean, a gay man diagnosed in May 17' with prostate cancer at 51. Married to my partner for 21 years. My PSA was 150 and I was told to expect Mets. Within a week I had a biopsy and my Gleason score came back as a 4+5 (9). I was put on HT and paliative care. I was put on Firmagon for 3 months

Oral Progesterone (Cyproterone)
Hi everyone, Just wondering whether anyone has any experience taking oral progesterone (brand name Cyprone) for Endometriosis? I just had my follow up appointment with my Gynae/Endo surgeron and rather than put me on Zoladex, which would likely screw with my anxiety and depression, he has asked me to

Newbie on Zoladex and Tibilone
Hi All, I joined this group a month ago following a diagnosis of stage 4 endo. A bit of background - a gynae consultant told me 5 years ago that I had suspected endo as multiple cysts showed up on MRI. As my pain was manageable then, I declined a lap to confirm as I didn't need treatment. Fast forward

My gynae has prescribed me zoladex for 6 months and I’m wondering if people can tell me your experiences with it. Did it work? Has your endo return? Side effects? Can it cause infertility?

Anybody else in same boat?
So, i was diagnosed with endo back in late 2015 early 2016. I was then sent through to BSGE as priority. After plenty of stalling I was given excisional surgery in december 2016. I was diagnosed stage 4 sub-type agressive. I have since been under my BSGE hospital on 3 monthly reviews. I have bounced

I am just so exhausted.
I have stage 3 endo and am awaiting hysterectomy. I am currently on the zoladex injections which seem to be working well - ie. very little pain. I am now back at work following crazy xmas and new year times with kids - sat at my desk typing this as we speak and i can feel the tears coming on. I'm exhausted

Conflicts between HIV and PCa meds
Hi all I have been on antiretrovirals / protease inhibitors (ritonavir. saquinavir, norvir) for many years with excellent results. Recently I was diagnosed with aggressive PCa and have been on Zoladex for 4 months. My doctor is considering augmenting that with bicalutamide to reduce PSA levels as I

Can Hormone Treatment Cause Kidney Damage?
Apologies if this has posted twice. I tried to do it on the app but it wouldn't accept the post for some reason: Hi everyone can I just ask if anyone knows if hormone treatment can cause serious kidney problems. My lovely husband is going to see GP on monday but basically he has quite significant pain

Decapeptyl experiences
I've had such a long journey (my story is on my profile) and I've eventually started on some form of treatment plan. I was supposed to start zoladex last month but there a ridiculous mix up, causing a 3 week delay and I've ended up getting decapeptyl instead. I've found it quite hard to find people's

Hair loss
I’ve been on zoladex & HRT for nearly a year now waiting for my full hysterectomy & bowel resection. I’ve noticed hair loss for a while but my hair has become very dry/brittle (I previously had to wash my hair daily due to greasiness) and a nightmare to brush. I don’t have any bold patches it’s more

First month pain free in years
So I got zoladex 2mths ago started hrt and when my first period was due it didn’t come neither did the pain and I was so happy. But then it happened a week later. Admitted to hospital with the worst flare ever. Felt so defeated and unhappy. Took some time off work and decided to give up my hrt as I’m

Zoladex or Mirena Coil
Hello, I am a little bit torn. I have just been to my gynaecologist as my symptoms of endometriosis have got progressively worse since my lap in May. I am on the mini-pill (progesterone-only), which I have to come off because it is not suppressing ovulation, which is only becoming more frequent. I can't

Been offered Radiotherapy in the primary tumour.
Hi all I’ve been having Zytiga/Pred and Zoladex for the past two years as my primary treatment. All is going well but my oncologist has just offered me Radiotherapy based on some new results based on a trial. I have distant mets to lymph nodes. I’m doing so well what can I expect from this new treatment

Finishing Zoladex after a year
I had my last 3 month Zoladex injection in April (I was on it for a year) and my periods haven’t yet returned. I’ve got severe pain over my right ovary area though and it’s been like this for a few days now. Has anyone had a similar experience?
