Prostrap or Zoladex?
Hello all. I’m currently taking Decapeptyl but after 6 months, I received no relief from it. I’ve had 10 instances of random, heavy bleeding and because of that, my consultant wants me to try another drug seeing as I haven’t had a “fair trial”. He said that he’ll send a letter out to me and mentioned

Bleeding before FET
Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me. I’m currently in the middle of treatment for a FET. I had zoladex for down regulation and when I had my scan my lining was still at 8.8mm and it should have been around 5mm. My clinic did bloods and they said all was fine and I could start my Estradiol tablets . Zoladex

.008 PSA Bicalutimide Monotherapy
Thanks to Tall Allen I have read some solid studies that say combining treatments is best for overall survival, for personal reasons I am on 150 Bicalutimide monotherapy, these reasons were a severe loss of strength which I thought maybe it was because of previous hormone therapy, in reality it was

Diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer 2016.
Hello everyone. I was diagnosed late 2016 with metastatic prostate cancer with mets near esophagus, aorta and groin. PSA was12. Biopsies gave Gleeson score 8. A top surgeon told me surgery no longer an option because it had spread and put me on ADT Zoladex. I elected to have monthly 3.6mg implants

6 weeks of heavy bleeding
I’m at a bit of a state at the minute and any suggestions are welcome. Long story short year ago came off everything to give my body a break stopped Zoladex Mirena coil came out. Great until 6 weeks ago pain is back worse and heavy bleeding so bad I’m doubling up on protection and having to change in

HELP! What do I do next?
I had a phone call today with my NHS consultant, I have always suffered from heavy painful periods, excessive pain and very bad hormonal acne for as long I’ve had my periods from age 11 - I am now 23. I had a diagnostic laparoscopy last August to diagnose endometriosis (they didn’t find any) and they

Tranexamic acid
What’s your experience of Tranexamic Acid? I’m currently on week 5 of heavy period after coming off everything a year ago. Had coil removed and stopped Zoladex injections to give my body a break from over 10 years of drugs. I wish I hadn’t. The pain I thought was quite intense is nothing compared to

Treatment Centres (UK or Worldwide)
Hello, I am here on behalf of my Father who has recently been diagnosed with PC with mets to lymph nodes, spine and lower rib. He has currently been placed on 3 monthly injections of zoladex. I was wondering if anyone on here has ever been anywhere and achieved success with something similar? We're from

Thoughts on Zoladex?
Hi everyone, just wondered if anyone is willing to share their experiences with Zoladex? The BGSE I have been referred to plans to put me on it after an initial surgery, because of the size of the cysts I'm dealing with. Then operate again a few months later. I've heard absolute nightmares about Zoladex

Two step approach to chocolate cysts
Is this what hope feels like? I swear I had forgotten. The specialist from the endo centre just called me. Recommends a two step approach, drain the cysts (mine are bilateral and big), zoladex for three months, remove the rest of the cysts. He wants to preserve my AMH and try to prevent premature ovarian

What HRT are you on alongside Prostap? :)
Just wondered if anybody on Prostap was on HRT alongside? If so which one? I've had Zoladex before without HRT and it went a lot better than how the Prostap with HRT is going! I guess I'm trying to see if my HRT Kliovance is the problem. Thank you so much :)

Experiences with Zoladex
Hey everyone, I’m feeling very deflated right now. Story cut short - I got my diagnosis of endo in January 2020 via lap (including diathermy treatment) after 12 years of suffering and complaining. The op and treatment although my consultant said was successful, hasn’t worked and my pain has only been

Rising PSA
I was diagnosed in June, 2018 with PSA 37, Gleason 4+4. Had external radiation in Nov, 2018. Been on Zoladex and Casodex for two years. PSA was around 0.05 until 6 months ago when it rose to 0.3. Just had my most recent test and it's now 0.9. I have an appointment in a month for another shot

Supplements for endometriosis, detoxification and immune health
Hi ladies, I thought I’d post as I’ve been experiencing some positive change lately and wanted to share what I’ve been doing in the hope that it could bring relief to more people. I’ve read lots on supplements and alternative medicine and from reading about Ayurveda I kind of came across very good supplements
