Has anyone on Ibrance, letrozole and zoladex combo found that the colour of their hands and feet have darkened? Also, any swelling to hands and feet? I’m not sure if I will be able wear shoes when I return to work 😱!! Sometimes my hands feel like they are about to pop!!
Thx N

Hi, strangely enough my feet and one hand have been swollen recently. I’m also on Ibrance and Letrozole. I don’t get to speak to my Oncologist till 1st July. If you find out before me thatnit could be the meds let me know. Take care. Cheryl
I know the feeling. Going through it at the moment. I told my oncologist "I'm in hell". I have put on weight, look like I'm pregnant, been falling quite a lot...Apparently, I fall into the small category of women that this medication seems to bring on the worst side effects. Four months ago, he took me off Letrozole, then put me on anastrozole which was even worse. I took myself off it. Seems I was right - my oncologist concurred with me. Last wee, he took me off Zoladex but reminded me that it will take some time for the side effects to subside. I feel like a balloon, and the hot flashes are even worse.
Radiotherapy, too, has similar effects in terms of darkening the skin. All this medication, while fighting the cancer, is messing up our good cells too. I'm having a blend of echinacea and rosehip tea every day to build my cells. It is helping in little ways. My eyebrow hair has grown back. I take a Feroglobin capsule every day to build my iron reserves. It has made a difference.
I have swelling from letrozole but not as bad as yours. And skin darkening from radiation but hands and feet are not dark. Good luck to you and everyone on this site ♥️
