menstrual period after zoladex

Hello All,

I have endometriosis

I'm new here but it helps me a lot to read your advices and your experiences

My husband and I have been struggling for 7 years to have childrens

I had 2 paroscopic surgeries for endometriosis and 5 failed VFIs.

now we are trying with donated eggs. I was treated with zoladex for 2 months and after 60 days from the last injection of zoladex my period came. now at the second menstruation it is already 7 days late. I did a pregnancy test but it's negative. Do you know if after zoladex injections the menstrual period is irregular?does it return to normal at 28 days? after the first cycle shouldn't it return to normal?

Mine took quite a few months to get back to normal but then again I was on Zoladex for longer than you have been. I wouldnt worry too much just give it a bit more time. best wishes. x

How many months were you on the zoladex injection? And how many weeks or months after did your period return?

the second time I stayed on it for two years and I think it took about six months.

because I also have swollen breasts

did you have the same after you finished your treatment with zoladex?
