Testing if I am post menopausal
I was DX in august 2017 with primary BC er/pr positive and HERS negative. In August 2018 I had my MBC DX and went on to zoladex monthly / letrozole and Ibrance. All stable scans. And considerable decrease. The ONC suggested I stop zoladex and letrozole for 5 weeks to do a blood test to see if I am post

Docetaxel and Options Thereafter (NHS)
Hi everyone. We were informed last week that Dad now has liver involvement as our oncologist suspected there would be as he didn't make a decision quickly enough on his next treatment when she informed him he was resistant. He has now started on Docetaxel and had his first infusion last week. The question

Off Zoladex - feel awful! Please help!
Hi everyone, I really need some support please. I had a lap in October last year that diagnosed stage 4 endo, and then severe post-surgery bleeding. I had a course of Zoladex as an attempt to stop the bleeding from December to May, last dose in May 2021. I also have a Mirena coil, fitted during surgery

Can ADT cause thinning of teeth?
Does anyone know if there's any evidence that ADT can thin your teeth, just as it can thin your bones (osteoporosis)? Since I began a two-year course of Zoladex 2.5 years ago, one tooth after another has cracked, necessitating implants. This may just be a sign of age and/or the effect of too much grinding

Docetaxel or Erleada.
Hi guys , Hope everyone is well today . So we went to see the oncologist yesterday to have a chat with her and ask some questions about treatment . It seems her thoughts are still with Erleada and zoladex . She felt that was the best way to go for john . She said there wasn’t that much disease and

Muscular pain
Hi peeps Just a quick question, every now and then I'll be walking the dog or climbing the stairs at home and I get a severe pain in my top or right side of my leg, so bad I can't walk for a few mins then it goes away, does this have anything to do with my hormone treatment Zoladex perhaps weakening

Advice on open surgery
Hi ladies, I have had an MRI scan that showed extensive endometriosis… without going into too much detail, basically everything is stuck together; ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus with adhesions to the bowels… ☹️ I’ve been told at 45 it’s best to just have a full hysterectomy (I’m lucky enough to have

Your experiences?
Hi all, I’ve recently had an MRI that revealed adenomyosis and endo in the pouch of Douglas. I’m currently on the Cerelle mini pill, which hasn’t been helping. My endo specialist has given me three options to move forward, and I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has tried any of these and how

Zoladex just not helping?
Hi, Has anyone else had any experience of Zoladex just not helping? I’ve just had my 4th injection and I’m still in constant pain and on regular strong pain killers just to live! Aside from not having periods, which is the only silver lining, I’ve just not got any better - and it was almost promised

Endometrioma causing problems. Anyone else had Zoladex injections? Or got pregnant with very low AMH?
1. I am Due to start Zoladex soon. Has anyone ever had this? Current plan: Awaiting aspiration of endometrioma (chocolate cyst) under ultrasound. Commencing monthly Zoladex injections to induce a temporary menopause and help prevent regrowth of the endometrioma. 2. My biggest worry is my ovarian reserve

Zoladex?
Hey guys, I’m looking to hear anyone’s experience with Zoladex injection/implant? I went to my appointment yesterday feeling very exhausted, and feeling like I have little options left. My surgeon presented me with the 2 options I do have, which is pain management therapy and Zoladex. I’m only 21

HIGH INITIAL PSA QUESTIONS
HIGH PSA values Hi Folks – and fellow travelers. I have been wondering, and reading the recent post from Canton44 about low PSA has prompted me to seek your collective wisdom about high PSA values. I started in Jan 2020 with a PSA of 1000. The oncologist said that if I first had cancer – then a high

Does anyone have experience with the drugs zoladex or zanadol for endometriosis. I am about to start a new management role /high stress job at the same time as starting hormone replacement therapy for my endometriosis and I’m worried about the symptoms
