My endo consultant is putting me on zoladex until my next lap. I've looked up the side effects and it's seems like a mix of severe PMS plus menopause. How lovely.
So I already have really bad PMS and I'm worried if things will get worse. I don't want to be crying everyday for no reason.
I'm also trying to lose weight already, with little to no results. So I'm afraid that zoladex is going to make things worse.
My question is how do you deal with it?
I can't cut my calories much more since I already eat about 1500, and to lose weight I have to go to 800. And I already have sleeping issues and fatigue so over exercising doesn't seem to be something I'll have much energy to do.

I can’t be of much help to you, but can so relate to having terrible PMS and completely understand that you’r terrified of that getting worse. Personally acupuncture helped me big time with my PMS. It gave me such a big difference! Maybe that’s an idea you could try to help reduce the side effects? Not sure, or maybe its worth investigating if acupuncture alone would be helpfull until your next lap? Good luck with whatever you decide to do... its though..
Every person is different and has different side effects with Zoladex. I was on it whilst I was waiting for my laparoscopy. I first had a 3 month Decapeptyl injection and was then prescribed Zoladex monthly. I didn't put on any weight on Zoladex (I actually lost some!). The worst part for me were the hot flashes and insomnia but it was manageable and totally worth it because Zoladex really helped my endometriosis pain.
I did see an acupuncturist regularly whilst I was on it and that really helped. Wishing you all the best!
