Ibrance not working? Update
Update following on from my previous post a few weeks back. Had MRI on Tuesday and got the call from my oncologist yesterday. There has been progression - the emphasis was ‘slight’ but none the less progression… I’m to remain on ibrance (yay…what I wanted) and zoladex but ditch the letrozole/Femara

Starting ADT soon
My oncologist wants me to get Zoladex either (3 month or 6 month) plus radiation. I’m already taking Flomax. I’m certainly not looking forward to any of it and understand I have a hard road ahead. Questions I have: Is radiation painful? Dangerous? I’ve heard burns can happen. And it can damage nerves

Zoladex side effects...lump behind knee, do you get something like that?
Hello ladies, Hope you're having a lovely Sunday. So I've grown a lump behind my knee, I didn't injure myself or anything. I have read the side effects of Zoladex and it includes joint pain, which I'm getting and hurts more after I'm seating for a while or in the morning. But there's nothing specific

Zoladex: when do side effects start?
I’ve started a course of zoladex again for my endometriosis. The last time I had zoladex was years ago and I distinctly remember experiencing hot flushes at night and throughout the day. However, this time round I had my first implant (3.6mg) injected 3 weeks ago today and am still yet to experience

Made treatment decision, now what? Any help gratefully received
Hello, I'm back from latest gynae visit and just want to cry. I've been told my options and for various reasons the only one that seems viable to me is Zoladex prior to possible surgery (I'm very aware this doesn't work for everyone and can have horrible side-effects, but have tried most other things

16 months out from EBRT with less than 1 year remaining of Zoladex injections, PSA remains undetectable
Good news day! I’m 16 months on from 39 sessions of EBRT and with less than 1 year (of 3) remaining of Zoladex injections, my latest PSA results came back today, again as undetectable i.e. <=0.08 I started as very high risk with a PSA 87 regional / locally advanced PCa cT3bNxMx. I’m very pleased with

Normal period before laparoscopy
Since 2012 I haven’t had what I consider to be a ‘normal’ period i.e light-med flow, minimal pain and 5 days long. Fast forward 9 years with countless days of pain, one cycle of Zoladex, countless pain killers and horrific periods to the point I’m rolling around in agony, my local hospital have got

Testing if I am post menopausal
I was DX in august 2017 with primary BC er/pr positive and HERS negative. In August 2018 I had my MBC DX and went on to zoladex monthly / letrozole and Ibrance. All stable scans. And considerable decrease. The ONC suggested I stop zoladex and letrozole for 5 weeks to do a blood test to see if I am post
