Zoladex flare
Hi everyone, 9 months into Zoladex treatment for endo. I started bleeding heavily with severe pelvic pain both requiring hospital admission. Has anyone else ever took a period whilst on Zoladex? Consultant said it was very rare this happened to me. Thanks in advance , Caitlin x

Hey all, I was just wondering if anyone wouldn’t mind sharing their experiences / stories with zoladex and weight gain / loss? I’m on my 5th round of zoladex now and my weight has gone up rapidly in the past 5 months I have noticed - and it’s really getting me down. After doing a lot of research I’

HELP - advice on how to receive proper care and treatment
Hi ladies, hope everyone is keeping well? How are you all managing with the delays in being able to see consultants and receive medication etc? I had an appt (telephone, unable to do face-to-face in my area) and was told I would need to begin Zoladex due to severity of Endo and pain management, this

Zoladex 10.8, 3 month interval implants
This is a somewhat simple question but I'm going to ask it in any case. My GP's nurse didn't know the answer to it so I presume it's not such an ignorant question and I've been unable to find the answer online. Once you're on Zoladex, and assuming you're in good health, can you ever come off it? I presume

Supplements
Hi all, I am currently on Zoladex and for the first few months being on it, I was practically pain free. I’m going into my 5th month now and I’m starting to experience chronic pain again. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for any supplements or anything they find helps? As I’m starting

Zoladex stopped working ?
Hi all, I have been on Zoladex 3.6mg injections for the past 9 months. This injection has helped my pain and provided me with a better quality of life. However, recently the past two months week before/few days prior to injection I’ve had severe flare up of pelvic pain. Has anyone else had same experience

Zoladex for severe endometriosis
Hello everyone. I have had a diagnosis of severe endometriosis for a few years now, which makes me very lucky compared to some, but i am really struggling to cope with everything recently. My endometriosis is very severe and my consultant has advised 6 months of Zoladex to try to assist with the pain

Zoladex for more than 6 months
Hi everyone, I just wondered if anyone has had zoladex for more than 6 months. I am due my 4th injection tomorrow, I was put on to stop my kissing ovaries from killing my kidney. I've been told my surgery won't be until summer next year due to the covid waiting lists. So not sure about taking for more

Back pain after laparoscopy and during Zoladex
Hi Endo Warriors! I have had my laparoscopy (5 months ago now) and am mid way through the 6 month Zoldex implants (not injection, implant. The needle is for an elephant and I'm not over it yet!!). One of my symptoms of endo was back and hip pain but since they lasered and cut a load of it away I thought

Advice on Severe Endometriosis
Hi everyone! Sorry a bit of a long post but I feel a bit lost and need some guidance. Back in February I had a laparoscopy which showed severe endo with adhesions on pouch of Douglas, both pelvic side walls and ovaries. Severe adhesions of the rectum and pelvic colon. My surgeon advised to take Zoladex

Zoladex and relentless periods!
Hi, I have had 2 Zoladex injections now to help treat my Endometriosis but I’ve been getting a period every 2 weeks since I started. This period I’m currently on doesn’t show any sign of stopping either even though I’m on day 6 and usually have finished by now. Has anyone else experienced this? I’ve

Zoladex implant
Hi I had my first Zoladex implant two weeks ago. Do they stop your periods from the get go? I was due to come on two days ago but nothing 🤔 normally I'm bang on. I thought I would've thought I would have at least this period before they 'shut down'. As you can probably tell, I wasn't given much

Zoladex and contraception
Zoladex and contraception? I was given Zoladex after a lengthy surgery to remove endometriosis. I was also led to believe it was a contraceptive! What is the best contraceptive to use alongside this treatment?

Post Laparoscopy pain
Hi, I am so glad I found this group! I had a laparoscopy 5 weeks ago now, my surgeon said he did not think it was endometriosis as he had put me on zoladex treatment for 18 months and it had reduced the size of the cyst so he was just going to have a look. During the op he discovered it was endometriosis

Zoladex and extreme hair loss
Hi ladies, has anyone else experienced hair loss as a side affect of zoladex? I had my last (3rd) zoladex last week but in the last couple of weeks I’ve noticed clumps of hair falling out when I shower or even when I put a comb through my hair. It’s making me feel so self conscious as I have a double
