Zoladex

Hi has anyone tried zoladex to shrink severe endo but found that they’re still in pain and not responding to it?

My Gynecologist told me it gets worse before it gets better as zolodex switches off the ovaries. They overreact before they shut down.

Been on it since August last year, life changing and I take tibilone HRT to add back hormones needed.

Hi! I’ve been on it since August this year. Still had periods for the first three months (and an extra one in between for good measure!) now they have finally stopped but still get the period pains! Consultant still reckons it will have ‘dried me up’. Such a great bedside manner. It’s what every woman wants to hear isn’t it?! I also take tibilone HRT. Hope you get some relief soon!! If not then get back on to the consultant! Xxx

Hey thank you so much for reaching out! I was the same with zoladex first time around i bled the whole way through 3 months so they stopped it. However it did help with pain. This time I’m having zoladex and norethisterone but cramping is really severe all the time. It’s strange how peoples bodies respond differently to drugs xx
