CGRP ON NHS
Is anyone out there who, like me , is a patient at the headache clinic at the London National hospital for neurology and
neurosurgery
, and is waiting for CGRP to be prescribed on the NHS? All they say is that the pharmacy haven't got it organised yet and that I am on a long waiting list.

Dry cough
I am wondering if anyone has had issues with a dry cough after treatment for metastatic breast cancer brain surgeries. I started taking letrozole in late February and then started Ibrance a month or so later. I stopped the Ibrance after three rounds and I am taking another drug, Gallium Maltolate, instead

Have surgery or wait?
I am a new member of the group who was diagnosed 4 yrs ago with a 3-cm meningioma on my left parietal lobe. Since then follow-up MRI’s have not revealed any change in size but during the last year brain reaction (edema) has increased. My primary symptom is occasional neurological deficit events whereby

Hair loss after surgery
I have started losing hair. I have about an inch section of complete hair loss. I am three weeks after surgery and really concerned about this I have always had thick long hair. I have read a bit online about other brain surgeries and it says that it could be from the Anesthetic as I was under for 10

Joint pains and headaches
I also have a tingling in my left fingers and a headache around the scar following previous
neurosurgery
. I’ve been in ICU before, but I don’t recall these ‘side effects’. Do any of these sound familiar to members?

Banged head on garage door
I banged my head yesterday coming out of the garage (didn't stay crouched down long enough when coming out and hit the top of my head on the garage door edge.) I didn't lose consciousness/awareness or experience any bleeding. I felt a bit dazed and my head felt sore on and off. I slept fine last night

Severe brain injury experiences?
My father had a fall on 7th March and suffered a severe traumatic brain injury, he was put in a medically induced coma and had brain surgery to remove the subdural hematoma. He is in intensive care and we are in the early days of his potential recovery. I would really appreciate hearing about your experiences
