What a fiasco!
Unfortunately I am having very complex spinal
neurosurgery
on Tuesday, so timing is poor to say the least. I had already cancelled this surgery as I was allegedly having my BSO on 30th June.

Update on my ovarian cyst
They wanted me to continue on and have my spinal
neurosurgery
to remove a rare tumour on my spine. I am extremely relieved as having gone through CT scan and 3 weeks of hell I had convinced myself I has OC. Do many complex cysts resolve on their own? Mine has solid component mostly.

Very worried and confused
I was scheduled for spinal
neurosurgery
in July, which now the ovary issue has arisen will need to be put back to August or September . I have so many back symptoms and take strong pain meds that I am worried that some of my back pain may be due to ovarian cyst.

i have tremors only; if I eat certain foods and plenty of water and sleep. Tremors aren't happening 98%f the time. some drs. say its not PD
some drs say its not PD but don't know what it is but think its related to food. I went to 2 different Nuerologist and the very first thing said You need brain surgery; this is without knowing any history. any help would be most appreciated

Help for my Mum - Parkinsons, PSP or MSA? Help and advice please
I'm hoping someone can help with advice in respect of my Mother. She was diagnosed as having Parkinsons in 2008 but her condition has deteriorated significantly. She is now unable to walk unaided, I cannot understand a word she says, she has trouble breathing, unfortunately struggles to control her

is it ok to fly 2 weeks after a bleed from my brain and brain surgery?
I had a bleed from the brain and then had brain surgery which was successful and I now feel very well. This was around 10 days ago and I am looking to fly to Greece this Saturday, that will be two weeks after my surgery. I want to no if it is safe to fly this soon? I feel 100% no pain and I am off painkillers

Director of DBS Clinical Research Development.. Department of Neurosurgery, Anatomy and Neurobiolology, University of Kentucky.
I had the most amazing experience last week! Just tell me...what are the chances that someone on this blog site would be in my clinic....sitting in front of me...having had consultations with me....going through DBS, with me sitting by their side every step of the way..there when it's all over? I would

Hello, i'm new to this site. I had brain surgery in May 2012 to remove a tumour from right frontal lobe. I'm still recovering and in the process of learning to cope. I'm 40, no kids, married to my husband for 5 yrs. Is there anyone out there who has gone through the same type of surgery and diagnosis
