I'm new here and I need help.
I've had brain cancer twice. My last brain surgery was 5 years ago and last chemo 3. Since then, I have lost my over 7 year relation due to the cancer, my independence, identity, financial stability. All my grandparents passed during the beginning of the pandemic and my dad died 1 month ago. I'm struggling

Edinburgh Festival Time
The Edinburgh Festival is back and the town has been taken over by angry comedians and budding thespians. Headcase is a play running until 28 August about the actor Kristin Mcilquham who's father had a brain hemorrhage. There's laughs and tears. I recommend it. https://www.pleasance.co.uk/event

An urgent warning about rytary...
I am in contact currently with 3 hu people that are seriously messed up on rytary...i think its a kindling effect or what i call stacking. I believe we are not only overdosed on rytary but it also is having some strange psychiatric effects common to us 3. please check the link for full understanding,

Update 6.7
A few items of note. CBC numbers are pretty stable from two weeks ago. HCT is OK at 45.3%. PLT is at 313. WBC is low at 2.72. I remain in lymphopenia at 0.65. I am now consistently in Neutropenia at 1.38. The MPN Specialist does not want to see the Neutrophils drop below 1.00 as that would compromise

Parkinson's disease symptoms 'reversed' by mini implant, trial suggests
Full story here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-61215241 Having already had brain surgery to remove a tumour, I can't see that I would be eligible. Hope it helps others though. Anyone here on the trial?

Things to do at home while recuperating from brain surgery
I had brain surgery about a month ago and I'm looking for suggestions for safe activities to keep me busy at home. I'm not supposed to do too much while I'm recuperating, no heavy lifting, not too much computer use, not too much paperwork, etc.. Audiobooks and podcasts are great. Are there other things

Dementia Clinic
She asked if I would be happy to be seen at the National Hospital for Neurology and
Neurosurgery
. Got my appointment and been to the first appointment at the dementia clinic and lots more physco testing and they suggested memory was due to stress! Made me very annoyed to say the least.

My baby
Yesterday I had to put my baby Bella down. She was sick. She was my rock ever since my husband had brain surgery on Dec. I’m so lost, sad and just lonely. Please send me prayers. I need it. 💔💕

Anxious of catching colds, flu and covid-post brain surgery.
I had a subarachnoid haemorrhage in October and had very successful surgery, so I'm recovering well. The issue I have at the moment is, I am anxious about catching even the common cold. After all the headaches and fatigue, I just don't know how my body and mind will cope with the blocked sinuses, cough

Update 6.0
On the whole, news is quite good. Ongoing recovery from the brain surgery, resection of tumor in June 2019, is going well. The MRI on 12/15 looks really good. There is no sign of tumor recurrence. The visual symptoms post-surgery (acephalgic visual migraines/palinopsia) have been subsiding in frequency

Radical Prostatectomy - Maybe It's Time is Past
