The Edinburgh Festival is back and the town has been taken over by angry comedians and budding thespians.
Headcase is a play running until 28 August about the actor Kristin Mcilquham who's father had a brain hemorrhage. There's laughs and tears. I recommend it.
Also coming up from 22 August is Ashley Brain Damage about a person who was hit by a car "and in a coma, had five brain surgeries and got a new titanium skull. Come on this journey with her, but don't get hit by a car!"
Sadly Jonathan my gallivanting to wherever took my fancy is a thing of the past, so Edinburgh is a city too far these days. But it all looks amazingly diverse and exciting and the Kristin Mcilquham play would've been a treat. Hope you get to see more before end of August. (Must confess, I do like angry comedians 😄).
I watched some online. Theirs and the female shoplifting sketch is really funny, silly humour ! I'm a confirmed Ricky Gervais fan ; not to everyone's taste I know. 😏 x
