Livia, TENS unit- for the ladies really struggling

Hey guys,

(Bit of background pain wise)

Just wanted to share this, for the past 7 weeks I have been off work & literally hardly able to move I’m on all the pain meds and just recently got out of hospital.

Buuttttt!!!

I purchased a Livia (which is basically a TENS machine invented for periods and endo) and it’s soo amazing, better than any pain tablets and I can actually move a little more while using it. It’s cute comfy and discrete. So if I do need to leave the house or make something to eat I can put it on and it really does relive pain. It’s not cheep and to get it to the UK I had to pay a customs charge but I would really recommend for anyone really struggling to the point where the pain is debilitating & can not get on with life.

I really understand the struggle with pain so wanted to share this with you guys

Please feel free to ask me any questions. X

Yeh I was also thinking this before I got one, apparently the electro shocks are specifically designed to relive endo & period pain. I was dead special but from my experience other TENs units are to over baring and I either feel the pain or the shocks are way to strong, where as this one seams like a better balance between the pain and actually feeling the small shocks. It’s pretty and small and yeh defo think that the price is part of this from a marketing point of view. There are lots of articles I read online about it compared to usual TENs unit before I purchased (cuz the price was hard to justify) It is robust as I have dropped it like 8 times already 😂 and it’s fine (thank goodness)

Hi. I was just wondering would any tens machine be ok to use. I have one but it was got for my partners back so I never thought about it for endo relief before. I know they are easy to use outside the house as when he was able to back to work he wore it at work. Do you think it has to be that brand of tens machine for endo ?

Hey, no as far as I have read & understand any will work fine, just wanted to put this one out there because the others don’t work too well for me I always find the electrodes too strong but then have to feel the pain. So this works perfectly for me but if you get on with another one that’s not specific for endo or period that’s brilliant 👍 I don’t see why it would be a problem. 😊

I have this and although I find it helpful, I find that because I get pain front and back, when I put it on the back my front hurts more and vice versa. Have you found this?

Yeh 100% I was looking in to getting another cheeper version for the back and have it on a really low setting cuz I have struggled with the rest in the past being too strong and physically jolting which makes me Seam really weird 😂

Simply put, Its a glorified TENS unit marketed for period pain.

I read this article before I bought it while I was doing a bit of digging about. So yeh I thought the same and the price point is cleverly marketed. But I took the chance cuz I had a 3 month return policy on it & now it’s not going anywhere cuz it works so much better for me compared to other TENs machines the frequency is lighter and doesn’t feel like I I’m getting literally shocked (that’s how the others felt for me) It’s really light and discreet and enables me live a bit more 👍

Hey, for me yeh totally was but saying that I have only tried other generic TENs machines not a different one specific designed for period pain. But maybe give it a go it sounds so much cheeper. You could always check the returns policy. I hadn’t come across one as cheep as that 👍
