My doctor prescribed the Neupro patch for me. The side effects explained in the brochure sound scary.
Does anyone have an opinion about the Neupro Patch? I have dystonia in my right foot and leg and this causes trouble walking and driving.

"Didn't we have a loverly time the day we went to...Brugge!"
I suffer from peridiodic limb movement disorder for which I take four 0.088mg pramipexole tabs each night. Also, I get RLS, particularly during the day and early evening if I stay still in one place for any great length of time. Thus, long car or public transport journeys have been a nightmare.

I'm sure this question regarding Gabapentine has been answered before.
I am currently wearing a 3mg Neupro patch and am taking 400mg Gabapentine tablets three times a day. I have been on this regime for about two months and initially I experienced a huge improvement in my condition although the nights were by no means perfect. Over the last week I have had very bad nights

Is anyone else allergic to Sinemet?
Hello Everyone! I'm 49 years old and I was diagnosed in 2006, via med-challenge, after having spent 2 years in doctor's appointments and having testing done. I lost my job and my access to health insurance and ended up going to the local, public low/no cost health clinic for care. The doctor there

Case study - an update. (might be of interest to "new" sufferers)
Have tried the usual Dopamine medications. ( Mirapexin, Neupro patch and Requip ) All showed varying degress of success in reducing movements during sleep but all left me feeling as tired during the day as when I was on zero medication. Consultant has now suggested we go down a different route and

I saw Dr Ray Chaudhuri at Kings Collage Hospital yesterday He has reccomended Neupro patch. Can anybody give me some advice
I have been on Pramipexole 6 tabs [0.088mg ] for the last 5 years and works except for the odd bad night with muscle spasm and shoulder and head jerking. I suffer from what i thought was secondry insomnia due to RLS and or sideffect to Pramipexole but Dr Chaudhuri thinks i should not have any sleep problems

Has anyone used Neupro patch? Any side effects? This is my second week and have headaches and blood pressure changes.
Still on Neupro, have RLS symptoms during day & night. No more headaches, they might have been from high blood pressure. Feelings in legs & arms driving me "crazy" and patch does not always stay on, Also found out that Ins. will not pay in 2013.

Does anyone else "stagger" their pramipexole meds?
In the past I have taken pramipexole (4x0.088mg) at about 8pm and eventually get relief from RLS symptoms throughout the night. My GPs have refused to allow me the Neupro patch and when I tried the highest dose it made me fall asleep during the day. However I am finding it difficult to rest in the early

I would appreciate comments on the medication I am now taking for RLS - see below
I have recently changed from Mirapexine to Gabapentine which I supplement with a 3mg neupro patch. At first the specialist that I saw prescribed 100mg tablets three times a day but this was clearly not enough and I had a terrible time, made worse by the fact that I was on holiday in South Africa. Just

There is hope!
It's been 10 years since I was diagnosed - at the age of 58. I had been taking 2 sinemets (100/25) 3 x a day, and had been considering increasing the dosage to 4x a day - to make it a total of 8 sinemets a day - because, I felt that the sinemet was starting to last only 3.5 hrs. between doses instead
