Any thoughts as to why increasing liothyronine (extended release) by just 1 mcg makes me hyper, but when not taking it I’m hypo?
I am taking 9.79 mcg liothyronine extended release plus .125 mcg generic synthroid in a.m. for Hashimoto's. In the afternoon I was taking 8.79 mcg liothyronine and crashing by mid-afternoon. When I try increasing to 9.79 in the afternoon I feel ‘normal’, can do what I need to do, but feel anxious, slightly

Private labs showing high levels need advice
Hello, everyone, I need help with figuring my med adjustment. I am on thyroid meds for last 2 years. I just had some lab work done on my own, and wanted to test my free T3, TSH, and T4 privately. (without it showing on my medical records.) I got the tests done 12 hours after last dose of levo

Best online site to get Cytomel
I used to be able to get Cytomel online- but I got ripped off a few times. Where can I get cytomel without a prescription?

Lost weight in hypothyroid / Hashimoto
I was on 50 mcg levothyroxine, t4 and 5 mcg of cytomel, t3. Due to having palpitations, endo asked me to stop cytomel this week. I usually weigh 110-112 lbs, always hard to loose weight, however I seem to be losing weight, nice but surprised. I am down to 104lbs now. Has anyone else experienced this

First time on this forum, hoping to connect with people with similar experience
I am a 68 (minus 4 days) male. Was relatively healthy until about a month or two ago. Had just Hashimoto's, which was under control with Levothyroxin (100ug) and Cytomel. I went for a physical two weeks ago and my PCP called me the same day to tell me that she wants the blood test repeated the next day

Thyroid Medication Generating High Glucose Blood Levels
Before my thyroidectomy I had no issue with cholesterol or blood glucose levels. After my total thyroidectomy I was started on Synthroid. Immediately my Blood Glucose level increased and I once was considered pre-diabetic. The only thing the doctor said was “that happens with some folks.” The last

Need some help with recent results
Hi all, I’m at a crossroad and don’t know where to turn. Just a refresher: over 65, thyroid cancer in 2017, followed by T.T six months later. Started out on levo, poor converter, so cytomel 5mcg was added to 100 levo, taken all at once upon waking. Did not tolerate cytomel ( blood pressure shot

Labs and medication dosage question
Hey all. I know you aren’t doctors, and I do have a thyroid dr, but she’s not my actual dr,( she costs thousands of dollars) BUT she has been nice enough to give me some medication recommendations as I had her on my podcast. I’ve had a night mare of a week with my other thyroid dr who basically told

Help! In a panic!
I have been on T3 37ug for some time and recently upped it from 25ug as my last thyroid test came back low. My whole body is in some kind of allergic crisis - I can't eat anything without coughing, wheezing and my ulcerative colitis is back and the bowels are not working. I went on a fast to help things

Tirosint and cytomel vs Synthroid and cytomel?
Any benefits, differences between tirosint and Synthroid? My labs are a little wonky, and idk if that’s due to the lactose/fillers in Synthroid, or the low FT3. I just filled an rx for the same dose as my Synthroid in tirosint and am a little scared to make the switch. Any good reviews? Bad reviews

Help for daughter weaning off NT
Hi everyone I would like to ask for help for my daughter. She can no longer buy Nature Throid and has decided to revert back to just levothyroxine and see how she can cope as she would like to try for a baby next year and she has been told that it would be easier for the endocrinologist to look after

T3 sources
Hi It’s been a long time since I’ve been on this site. I have been taking T3 for a long time now under approval by an endo. But I’ve had to source and pay for my own. I had quite a lot of T3 and I’m now running low. I have also been dealing with other issues and a few months ago had open heart surgery
