I guess more radiation is an outside possibility but I think that train has already run as I am getting hip replacement surgery on Wednesday because the 2 previous times my hip was radiated caused
necrosis
(lack of blood flow).

Feeling very hopeless at this point.
On top of this, due to Xegeva, he has developed jaw
necrosis
. Had one surgery with tooth extraction, now pain again and due for another surgery and more jaw removal. This is nightmare we both feel the ride is about over. Next step pluvicto, if it works.

Vascular necrosis of both hip's
I see the surgeon today after 4 cancellations I've got to have a MRI scan to see if they're going to drill into feromral head's to relieve pressure or there going to replace both hip's I'm sort of relieved but either operation I'm not looking to it.

I have a bone condition called Avascular
Necrosis
. It was caused because I attempted suicide in 1983 and the pills aspirated into my lungs so they had to give me massive doses of steroids to save my life and get me breathing again.

I have some severe issues - pancreatitis, splenic thrombosis, pancreas-colonic fistula.
I have Pancreatitis with pseudocyst and
necrosis
in tail, chronic splenic thrombosis with varicosities, and pancreatic-colonic fistula. I'm sure it started with excessive alcohol, which I stopped completely 7 months ago. Many doctor visits and CT scans later I have the conditions listed above.

I’m on Allopurinol to help with tumor

is cause of some SE’s?

Extravasation
This can lead to pain, inflammation, and, in severe cases, tissue
necrosis
(cell death). • Impaired image quality – In diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging, extravasation can result in accurate or less reliable scans because the radiopharmaceutical may not accumulate in the intended target area.

necrosis due to radiation
does anyone have experience with
necrosis
in the brain due to extensive radiation at the tumor sites? I was fine for a little over a year until the
necrosis
developed and then I lost my peripheral vision on the right side.

Is Avascular Necrosis common in PMR/GCA patients?
I'm just newly aware of this condition but since PMR/GCA affects blood vessels, it seems like a real possibility...

Ups and Downs with this lousy cancer!
But on the good side, I no longer have signs of osteo-
necrosis
of the jaw and the MD/DDS I saw "released " me from his care! And the orthopedic shoes the foot surgeon ordered for me have finally arrived at the place he referred me too, where they specialize in braces.

Spleen embolisation gone wrong
He developed
necrosis
, sepsis and ascites. The hospital he is in - a very famous London hospital - does not accept that PV is a blood cancer. He has no access to any clinical nurse specialist and never has done. He is just languishing in a bed. After weeks he now has a pic line.
