I hope you don’t mind me saying this but you seem to have some considerable health anxiety, this in it’s self can cause physical symptoms if you are being told your LFTs are normal. I hope you get to the bottom of what is causing your pain but it sounds like your liver is ok

Thanks for the reply

It's the chronic headaches and chest and stomach cramps, after eating leg cramps, pain in all my joints, lymph nodes in the neck hurting that's causing the health anxiety

And I get confused as well

maco, Do you have a diagnosis of fibromyalgia? I know you've posted a lot previously on fibro forum.

I think we've well and truly cleared the liver as being any part of your issues BUT nearly every symptom you describe are/can be typically associated with fibromyalgia which you've mentioned having before.

Hi Mac, just to echo what others are saying. Your symptoms don’t sound like anything I’d associate with a liver problem and repeated blood tests have been normal for liver function. So I think it’s safe for you to stop worrying about your liver.

It sounds as if you have other medical problems that are being monitored. I know it’s frustrating when appointments are cancelled. Hopefully your orthopaedic appointment , when it happens, may give you some of the answers you’re looking for.

When you see your GP it might be worth saying that someone on here suggested fibromyalgia and asking if your symptoms could be that. It might be worth keeping a log of symptoms over the next few days to show them. My daughter has fibro and she does have similar symptoms so I think AyreshireK has made a good suggestion.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome is listed as a symptom of fibromyalgia and it can cause all sorts of toiletting issues. Diarrhoea is a common issue with IBS as can motion colour changes. Have you ever kept a food diary to see if any particular food group is a trigger? My Dad has recently had it suggested as the issue he's having in that department and he's having to experiment with the FODMAP diet just now to isolate what is triggering his diarrhoea issues.

Practically everything you've listed as a symptom you're experiencing is also listed as a fibromyalgia symptom which you are already diagnosed with.

Maybe look at the NHS page on IBS and check out the trigger foods to avoid. nhs.uk/conditions/irritable...

Your issues as regards bowel stuff are likely to be IBS related which goes along with fibro. You've got yourself so hung up on liver that you're ignoring the diagnosis's you've already got. There are dietary changes like FODMAP which can help reduce IBS symptoms.

If you look at Chick_atee posts I get all of what that person gets.

Well all I can suggest is that you keep a diary of symptoms and take it to your GP. Hope you get either some answers, a referral or some reassurance. Good luck on Wednesday.
