Naltrexone

I’m currently on 65mg hydrocortisone to treat secondary adrenal insufficiency and severe joint pain (split across 5 doses per day - yes, I know it’s a lot but I’m not over medicated), 4.5mg low dose naltrexone for severe fatigue and 25mg levothyroxine for hypothyroid.

I am starting a new prescription for alcoholism, called Naltexone, I was wondering if anyone had any success, and if you had any side affects? Please let me know if you have any suggestions, greatly appreciated.

I now am only taking LDN Low Dose Naltrexone and Delta 8 for pain. Along with vitamin B12, D and now E for my liver.

Has anyone got any experience of low dose naltrexone? I have just started today and wondered if anyone has had success with it, I've heard many great things about it .. Ty

Low dose Naltrexone was introduced to me by one of the wisest ladies I know. Bolt, it is my hope sharing this will be a small way of reciprocating the things you have introduced to me. I think it will be of interest to you. Or maybe you already take it?

Also, does anyone have any experience using Low dose Naltrexone for MSA symptoms? ( or have links to any literature regarding it's use for MSA). Thanks, Maya

I have been prescribed a low dose naltrexone 4.5 mg for inflammation and I have to say it manages my pain very well. It is a compounded pharmaceutical that is not covered by insurance but I'm happy to pay the $35/month for.

Has anyone come across any reputable research papers on the use of low dose naltrexone to treat RLS/periodic limb movement disorder? I've looked online (including Google scholar) but haven't found any.

Not a good time but anyway … in the meantime, I read about Low Dose Naltrexone, and that some people are having success with it in tapering and remaining off Pred. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks

If so please tell me about it, did you get it prescribed by doctor, are you in UK or USA, or did you buy your own, if so where from please etc and doses? Another forum says a lot of people are taking it - low dose - very successfully for this problem.

Apparently it can lower TPO antibodies, which in my case, even after removing gluten, dairy and soy, are very high (960). Has anyone tried this?

Those taking LDN: how quickly did you increase your dose? Can you go from 0 to 4.5mg in 3 weeks?

I got myself to a Naturopathic doctor and she recommended low dose naltrexone (ldn) to assist my body regarding the Hashi and the adrenal exhaustion. She provided me the following link regarding ldn's ability to regulate the immune system.
