Prostap Injections “Dissolved” My Fibroids

Hi ladies. I have been a member for nearly a year now and can’t tell you all how much of a godsend this group has been. I’m 31 and have had horrible periods since I was 13. 2 years ago I bled for 5 months nonstop with only a week or so in between then one day flooded at work and got rushed to hospital, then flooded again a month or so later ..I was then finally referred to a gyno who found 4 fibroids, 1 inside my womb so put me on prostap injections prior to a hysteroscopic myomectomy. I had my operation yesterday only to be told that there was no fibroid in my womb. I burst into tears because this was not what I was expecting. I needed it to be there so that it could be removed and I could be “fixed”. I’ve now been referred back to my consultant. I rang my nurse this morning in tears to ask to an appt ASAP and she said it might be possible that the prostap has shrunk the fibroid to the point of “killing” it - unlikely but possible. So I should wait for my next few periods to see if the pain, clotting etc is as bad, then we have another scan 😞. Today was meant to be my 1st day as a new woman, this was my light at the end of the tunnel, but the tunnel is longer still and the light no where to be seen. Any similar experiences with prostap killing fibroids to the point that they can’t be found in order to be removed?
