Is it just me or there are lots of young people posting about heart failure, Myocarditis and HA?
Is it normal for 20 year olds to be posting about heart failure and
Myocarditis
in the last 2 years? We can not hide the fact that the 'you know what' could have been one of the reasons. I am in my 50's and I inherited my heart condition and I know it.

myocarditis and 'you know what
I got the bug, 6 weeks later had the jab. 3 days later had my heart event…eventually diagnosed as
myocarditis
and ended up with a small amount of scarring…so it could be either that caused it I will never know… but I won’t be having a jab again, though I'm lucky in that I fall in the group for antivirals

Covid-19 Vaccination?
A small number of women developed
myocarditis
– between 2-3 additional cases per million booster doses. This risk is much smaller than that of developing severe Covid-19 or the risk of
myocarditis
resulting from Covid-19.

No idea if
myocarditis
is resolved. I am meant to fly for a month in July to travel around the UK (current non resident returning). I have so much conflicting information my head is spinning, my anxiety is very high.

Cardiologist conclusion : Covid related
Myocarditis
. He didn’t mention the unmentionable word but reading between the lines it was almost certainly implied. Again congratulations on daring to raise this issue. It’s time more did the same.

Atorvastatin triggering AF?
Initially thought to be
myocarditis
but because of the chance it could have been a MINOCA he was put on 80mg Atorvastatin and aspirin although his arteries were clear. (His cholesterol was very slightly raised at that time).

anxious about CAD - MRI result
Just to note the reason for the MRI was palpitations and tachycardia post covid and my consultant believes I had a degree of
myocarditis
based on my symptoms and inverted T-waves on an ecg when I was having chest pain and attended A&E.

What is Left Atrial Rhythm and is it related to Afib?
I also had a cardiac MRI done in February this year to check for any
myocarditis
or scarring from having COVID last year, which coincided with with several AFIB events in the months following, which have since settled down.

angiogram shown my arteries were clear so they are now saying it’s inflammation of the heart possibly caused by a viral infection I’ve been released from hospital about 4 weeks ago now but still having chest pain and waiting on a CMR scan to see what damage was caused,, the dr mentions it’s probably

Does anyone have any tips to help recovery from
Myocarditis
? In February I got covid which lead to pericarditis and
myocarditis
. I’m on a number of medications but wondered if anyone found anything else that helped their journey of recovery? Thank you!

Things might be looking up?
I've made this separate post for anyone searching for
myocarditis
or pericarditis later on... there's a lot of questions for these conditions but not always answers or follow ups so just to keep the story going 🙂

Myocarditis
Hi I was diagnosed with
myocarditis
due to a viral infection and pneumonia when I went to hospital on the 11th of March. I spent 2 in hospital and I have been home nearly a week. I didn't realise the after effects would be as bad as they are headaches, leg pain ,joint pain lucky no chest pain.
