Feeling good...

Captain_Birdseye profile image

Since the social chat is gone...

Went to the Muse gig in Glasgow yesterday. Was in 2 minds all the way as I've had a flare up in myocarditis so wondered if I should rest in case of making things worse...

But muse are rarely on Scotland so off I toddled. Met an old work colleague from years ago, met up with school and uni pals, the 2 support acts were fantastic, and Muse themselves were terrific... such an amazing band to see live!!

I didn't take any alcohol and didn't jump about as much as I liked... but the atmosphere, the performance and the weather (if you were there, you'll know) just made it a great experience.

So glad I went, and so far I'm tired, but not too sore... fingers crossed that continues!

I know your comment isn't directed at me, BigMel, but please don't risk getting another thread locked by continuing to argue over who can or can't construct a sentence properly.

I went past Bellahouston on the bus just as you were all streaming into the park. It looked like a huge and happy crowd. I live about five miles away and fully expected to hear the concert from there, but the wind must have been blowing in the other direction last night!

I hope that it did your heart good to have enjoyed yourself so much!

Also screenshotted and reported. Seems to be a troll as I noticed exactly the same post on another subject yesterday - which I also screenshotted and reported.

It sounds as if your evening out was amazing, Captain. I can't help but think that having a wonderful time out, when we can forget any problems for a while, must surely help with anxieties related to various heart and health issues.

In my opinion, life is all about balance.

I’m glad that you decided to go and still had a wonderful time, albeit a more mellow version!

Also, fabulous band choice - I love a bit of Muse 😁🤘Unintended is one of my favourite songs.

Hope you have a restful weekend and are feeling better very soon.

Best wishes

Sounds like you have had a fantastic time. It’s so encouraging when you read the determination of others and what is possible (providing you are sensible like yourself of course) You must be feeling very pleased with yourself and you so deserve too. 👏👏👏

This could have been a private message or a scroll by on what I had intended to be a positive post.
