Is it just me or there are lots of young people posting about heart failure, Myocarditis and HA?

Has it always been like this?

I have been a member for just 2 years.

Is there an elephant in the room?

Is it normal for 20 year olds to be posting about heart failure and Myocarditis in the last 2 years?

We can not hide the fact that the 'you know what' could have been one of the reasons.

I am in my 50's and I inherited my heart condition and I know it.

But these young people who have no previous heart problems are suddenly developing them.

Yes sure, diet, stress plays a part but you do not deteriorate that quickly.

There are plenty of articles talking about how Myocarditis is a side effect from the 'you know what'.

It is out in the open yet no one dares to discuss it.

They were meant to have been 'safe and effective' which means we were lied to and our Doctors are too embarrassed to admit it.

I think it is a crime that some of those young people are not being told that this could potentially be one of the reasons. We need to speak up.

I wish people would go on this website to see others who have been left out

Yes. I have noticed there are a lot of young people posting now.But like you I have no real idea why...no factual info to say why this is.

What you have written has definitely opened my eyes to alot of what you have said. There is definitely an elephant in the room and I have my theories. For me I carnt prove anything but it was strange that for some reason my body started to change over the last three years. Fortunatly I did not get heart failure or other symptoms. But even though I ended being found that I have a congenital heart problem. It has caused alot of worry and concern. I personally think that my body was ticking along with its fault. But for some reason my blood pressure got higher. Too high and the fault in heart reacted. However there would be an argument that age will naturally raise blood pressure. Also the subject of you know what which we carnt mention. Has caused alot of grief and heart ache to people. I carnt prove anything and carnt say one way or the other. But could ,you know what, cause issue with the heart muscles. And if you already have a weakness in that area, which you may or may not know about it starts a chain reaction. But something is going on and I agree with your post.

It is worrying and needs looking into, it is happening in other countries too not just in the UK.

in reply toanke123

It is a worry but no one will take it seriously. But it is happening all over the world. But it will never be looked into. I for one believe something has happened. I will not say any more as it does seem to be a hot potato that is being thrown around and around. I for one am very concerned.

I sometimes watch John Campbell on YouTube he mentioned it and at one time had to take a post down as he was told his site would be closed down. If there are genuine concerns it should be investigated.

I feel sorry about all these forgotten people who went out thinking it was 'safe & effective' and now they're not getting any help realnotrare.com/

I recommend the UK CV Family online group, they have 2 groups one for damaged people and one for friends and family. They have a lot of interesting information and have been a great help to me. I agree about the elephant in the room but there is a groundswell of changing opinion, there are just too many damaged people who believed the Safe and Effective. I disagree with the restriction of freedom of speech on this site. 🙈🙉🙊

I’m under the Royal Brompton - the elephant in the room is frequently mentioned/blamed in relation to my Myocardial problems. So acceptance is gaining. I’m not young but was 46 when it all went pear shaped.

By the way Captain_Birdseye and Milkfairy I see you both replied in my notification but your message does not appear which means you used the 'you know what word' because the admins delete anything to do with that word. How sad eh? Are we in China or the UK? UK soon to be China.

I was trying to post some information from the BHF website.

There is an un named elephant in the room but I suspect there may be other ones roaming as well.

The younger generation is often much more fragile and anxiety prone than I ever was at that age when the world was my oyster. Many of these anxieties are fabricated by social media but add to them student debt, going to university, finding somewhere to rent and eating badly, which creates a load of problems in its wake including obesity.

None of the above are new problems really.

Add to that climate change reaching tipping point- what kind of world are we leaving them?

I officially got myocarditis and then as a result heart failure as a result of the needle. They took months to diagnose, because of government guidelines saying it was not happening. Then the government published a paper admitting it was happening, two weeks later I had an MRI that made it official - unfortunately the scarring on my heart had already happened because they took so long diagnosing it. It definitely was happening!

in reply toCrazyLif

I am sorry this has happened to you and it takes guts to even admit that was the reason. Lots of people are in denial and there's nothing to feel ashamed about. We have been screwed by big Pharma and governments all our lives so its nothing new. We just need to learn though. They may come back with this nonsense again soon and this time we will see right through them.

I also believed iI would be safe and protected, but unfortunately I was one of the unlucky ones that ended up with severe heart failure because of it 💔

I will repeat this message to you too as I did to CrazyLif

It should never have happened. I remember discussing with my sister that I was going to have the you know what as soon as it was made available as I said it's got to be safe otherwise why would they be encouraging us to have it. She didn't trust it and flat refused. I wish I'd listened to her as it almost killed me! I was going to let my 9 year old have it when they rolled it out to the kids last year before I was diagnosed with HF...thank goodness I didn't...I dread to think what could have happened!!It's time the government started listening and looking at these statistics.

and ps: I am not a young male. I was a 50 year old woman. That was another myth.

Absolutely agree with what you're saying and also why has there been so many sports people who have been collapsing suddenly with heart pain. It does make you wonder. Brian

I am actually filing a complaint and I will go to the press about this sort of censorship. This is NOT acceptable. I recommend you all do the same. Put pressure on them to not censor something this important.

Hmm what elephant look at doctor John Campbell on u tube he discussed many a fine point about myocarditis in the younge and how the worlds governments and even this site control the obvious to down play the situation even I have been warned of this subject by the bhf when I posted about the cause and effect of my hart attack

Milkfairy profile image

John Campbell is not a medical doctor. He is a former Nursing Lecture, he's PhD is in philosophy.

How very true but I find he presents subjects without any biases and let’s the more mature of use to decide

My mature and reasoned view is that he provides potentially harmful misinformation.

Yes I certainly blame the elephant in the room. I was ok on the ‘M’ needle but after the ‘P’ one was when I went downhill. After speaking to the cardiologist nurse she said she had the required to keep her job but refused any further and she’d seen increased patients
