Has anyone had this prescribed? I went to collect my monthly prescription and this was added to it. I wasn’t expecting it and of course googled it. But just wondered if anyone else has had it and if they experienced side effects. Thankyou

Oral History of Vasectomy - Interviewee Request
Hello, I hope it's ok for me to post here, and I hope you're all doing well given the current circumstances. I am a PhD researcher at the University of Strathclyde, and I research the history of vasectomy in Britain, looking at things like why it became more popular, how attitudes towards it changed

Hi everyone Bella here. I’ve been a bit quiet for a while just ticking along, having had 5 denosumab injections to date, next one due next month actually. Meanwhile, Monday 19th I’m going to have my second DEXA scan done privately and see if these injections have made any difference. I’ve done this

Medical marijuana
Wondering if anyone has used medical marijuana for anxiety? Not self medicating, but actually going to a Dr. and dispensary for a specific type/dose. I see it’s recommended to help but I always used to feel paranoid when I smoked in my 20s.

A warning to older men on dialysis and those who have had transplants
I am 68 years old and had a transplant in 2016. Previous to this I was on peritoneal dialysis for a couple of years. Everything went well with the transplant but I was having trouble with the frequent need to pee. Initially it was thought that my bladder just needed time to get used to a working kidney

Cystectomy Advice
Hi all, I finally have a surgery date to get rid of my ovarian cyst! I’m very pleased, as it’s 8.6cm and making daily life painful to navigate. They’ve also said they’ll look for and treat any endo they find (still hoping to be diagnosed) while they’re in there. I’ve got two weeks to prepare, any advice

Post vasectomy pain syndrome
Nearly 6 years ago I had a vasectomy, from day 1 I've had debilitating pain so bad that even strong pain killers such as pregabaline and cocodamol didn't even touch it. I'm now on morphine patch due to addiction to codeine. I'm now hoping to have the local anaesthetic in target area. It has pretty much

Found something under my right underarm
Ugh! So I found something under my arm. I can’t say for certain if it’s a lump/small ball/pimple but it’s something! I discovered it while taking a shower this morning and of course I’m thinking horrible thoughts! I’m so scared. Called my oncologist’s office and hopefully someone will get In contact

Adcal and Pred
Would one of our experts please clarify taking Adcal and Pred at the same time please. I currently take all of my Pred, Metamorfin, Lanzaprosal and adcal with my breakfast. What should I be doing? Is the Pred ineffective if taken at the same time as Adcal?

Received results today from Axumin scan performed last Thursday. They plan to start me on ADT with radiation in 8 weeks. Thoughts welcome.
Any feedback you have is welcome. IMPRESSION: 1. Fluciclovine PET/CT with no definite signs of local or distant prostate cancer recurrence. 2. Focal uptake in the right sacrum, with no underlying bony changes, is indeterminate however likely secondary to degenerative change, attention on follow-up

Just circumcised 7 days ago. Painful erections and stitches stabbing my penis and very annoying.
I was just circumcised one week ago today. I also had a umbilical hernia repair and vasectomy at the same time. So needless to say I was a little sore. However i feel like it's going okay a week in. However i have some concerns. First I have been getting multiple erections throughout the day and night

Recent hip replacement following trip on drive now prescribed Adcal D3. Read this can lead to strokes and heart attacks over time.
Will a calcium and D3 diet be better than taking Adcal D3. Also on 20 mg omeprazole which can lessen calcium absorption.

PAIN IN THE ARM (NOT IN THE KNEE)
Years ago when I was in college, when I was 22, I shattered my right arm learning how to jump the vault in PE. I jumped a perfect jump but the landing was a disaster with 2 complete breaks and about 15 cracks. I had surgery and a plate and 5 wood (!) screws in it. They are still there and caused me no
