Autoimmune condition
Hi everyone. The results from my ANA and ENA came back with a broad diagnosis of connective tissue disease. They've ruled out lupus. This plus the thyroid stuff is going to be fun to deal with 😅. The Coeliac disease test was inconclusive because my GP forgot to advise me to have bread for at least 4

Effects of medications
I was diagnosed with PD about a year ago. I am of course interested in anything that is neuroprotective. I was told that only exercise is so I do that. Some believe that nicotine is so I have been on nicotine gum for several months. So far I have not noticed progression. My primary symptom is weakness

Sweetened drinks linked to atrial fibrillation risk
Many, many years ago, I used to occasionally have a gin and tonic or angostura and tonic (if driving). And became convinced that, if the tonic contained saccharin, I would likely end up having a relatively high heart rate. But this was long before I had any idea about afib. As I hate the taste of saccharin

Latest blood tests
Hi everyone, I posted a while ago about getting all my underactive thyroid symptoms back, joint pains, fatigue, anxiety and others. I’d had test results saying my TSH was low, but the dr was saying that it was satisfactory. I managed to speak to another dr and she ordered full blood tests. My results

Please can anyone explain ? My Kardia can show a result of Afib or SVEs even when my heart rhythm appears to be constant. Road blocks
Hi all,I thought I'd update you all. I went into hospital in the 20/02 to have my second last chemo before the BMT. Upon admission, I had a fever. After 4 days of fevers and a rash from head to toe, the doctors elected to postpone the BMT. So now the search is on to find out what drugs didn't agree

I'm due to have a hip replacement but nervous because I have paroxysmal A Fib. I' m on Edoxaban and have bisoprolol as a P I P, told to take after a few hours if it didn't resolve, but haven't had to take it . Would welcome some reassurance 😊

Advice Please
Please accept apologies if this is not the correct support group - just concerned as having Atrial Fibrillation from first thing in morning until I go to sleep. Not sure if this is related but pulse low at 40 and stays at that with occasional increase to 51. Have thyroid problems and advised to reduce

I have not written on the form for a while but would like your thoughts on the following: On Sunday night and all day Monday I had chest pain especially when breathing in, and both shoulders and upper back were sore. It was still very painful on Tuesday so I phoned GP and was told as it was chest pains

PSA doubled in last 30 days after 4 months stable since Provenge. What's next?
Update: PSA remained roughly 1.7 to 1.8 for last 4 months after Provenge but yesterday's 30-day PSA test revealed a jump to 3.190 so something is growing quick. I have been off of all ADT since finishing fourth LU-177 injection five months ago and one SBRT treatment 4 months ago. After LU-177, PSA
