No sex drive whatsoever... coil related??
I had surgery to remove my endo on February... all went well and they also inserted a
Mirena
coil in too.. Well I obviously didn’t have sex for a while whilst I was recovering. But ever since my sex drive is basically at zero. I love my partner to pieces, I still find him incredibly hot!!

Question...
As many of my old symptoms are returning even though I have the
Mirena
coil which i was told that this would stop the endo from returning. 🤔😢

I've tried
mirena
coil which was rubbish so went on zoladex for 6 months which worked really well. Saw my new gynaecologist today who thinks I have adenomyosis as apposed to endometriosis in the rectovaginal septum which is what previous gynaecologist thought.

Not sure whether to get mirena for pain
I know the
mirena
could be different but I am worried I will have the same side effects seeing as it’s progesterone again.

Sudden heavy bleeding but on mirena coil so don’t get periods?? HELP
Hi All, Has anyone ever had issues with the
mirena
coil? more specifically, I had a
mirena
fitted to stop my endo growing back. It’s 3 years ago, and had it replaced in early 2017. In this time I have not had one period, not even a patch of breakthrough bleeding.

Hi there, Last week I had a laparoscopy where I had the
mirena
coil inserted. After healing from the laparoscopy I’ve been in a lot of pain.

Recurring cysts and possible treatment with mirena coil
Consultant and gp are both pushing for me to have
mirena
coil fitted. Im not sure. I respond quite dramatically to hormones and as a result havent taken any contraceptives for years and always managed endo pain and cramps with meds. Not ideal but i hugely prefer this to any hormonal treatment.

Being Diagnosed/MRI/Mirena Coil?
I was advised by the surgeon who removed my cyst to get the
mirena
coil? Not gonna lie, that doesn't sound pleasant at all haha. Has anyone got this? I'd really appreciate any insight into what it's like.

Mirena pain
I guess I just wanted to share and to reach out and see if anyone has similar experiences with the
mirena
(preferably with happy endings?)

Endo and asthma
I was then referred to hospital for consultation, and the consultant, to my surprise, recommended straight to operation (I was really expecting a 'wait and see' response from him) and suggested I have a
mirena
coil fitted as well.

Embedded endometriosis
I had an operation in 2014 to remove the endometriosis which went as well as it could, I was then also given a
mirena
coil and an implant in my arm to stop my periods and hopefully stop the endometriosis returning.

Occupational health: Positive experience!
I am in the meantime on the
Mirena
coil which helps with the crazy bleeding I used to have but my pain is still there and still getting worse... which is why I have to take time off at least once a month during my periods as I cannot stay sat down or stand up for prolonged periods of time and no way

Nothing found after Laparoscopy
So after another year of on and off pelvic pain , back and forth to the doctors, then specialist I opted for a Laparoscopy and to also have the
Mirena
coil fitted at the same time. So after my lap the surgeon came out and said she found nothing! So now I am very confused!
