Advice please

Hi, I had been told that I have suspected endometriosis as I am too big to have it checked properly, I was fitted with the mirena coil 3 months ago and literally had to take two weeks off work as I was in such agony from it. It took more than 8 weeks to be able to carry on as normal and I’m still not right. I also have IBS and I think the coil has worsened it as I have been having really bad flare up since the coil was put in, has anyone else had anything like this? I’m debating having the coil out as it’s been so bad

Hey, both the implant and the coil made my symptoms much worse, including constantly having an upset stomach. I got the coil put in during surgery and removed 2 months later but unfortunately my pain levels have not gone back down yet and its been 4ish months now.

I had my coil taken out on Monday as I just couldn’t cope with it! The symptoms flared worse than ever about a month after it was put in, iv had it in for three months and by last weekend I just couldn’t cope! The painful bloating had gone down within 24 hours and today iv had no IBS symptoms at all besides minor d this morning! It’s amazing! I didn’t think the two were connected initially but they must be

Iv had minor cramps, sore boobs and bleeding since but nothing too bad - so far anyway
